ENGLISH

In first place, my name is PABLO, I'm 29 and I'm from Spain. I am an enthusiastic person who has a strong interest in cooperation and sustainability projects, and I firmly believe that whatever we do in our lives, it should have a positive impact on society and the Earth. Graduate in political science and public administration, with experience in NGOs both in Europe and Africa, and with very different work experiences.

In second place, I'm CARLOS, I'm 29 and I'm from Spain too. I am a very social person with a great desire to travel and get to know the people and the culture of the possible destinations I travel. I would like to do my bit in the fight for the sustainable development of the territories and contribute to a better world.
Graduate in Veterinary Medicine, I have worked in some sheep and cows farms in Spain. I've been in Cameroon working in a Developement Project training and teaching Agriculture to young people.

FInally, we are a couple looking for new travel experiencies in America, we spent last year around México and Cuba. We believe Workaway can be a good tool for us to keep living that life and maybe we find in Chile a place to stay...

En primer lugar, me llamo PABLO, tengo 29 años y soy de España. Soy una persona entusiasta y muy interesada en proyectos de cooperación y sostenibilidad, y creo firmemente que todo lo que hagamos en nuestra vida, debe tener un impacto positivo en la sociedad y en la Tierra. LicenciadO en Ciencias Políticas y Administración Pública, con experiencia en ONGs tanto en Europa como en África, y con experiencias laborales muy diferentes.

En segundo lugar, soy CARLOS, tengo 29 años y también soy de España. Soy una persona muy sociable y con muchas ganas de viajar y conocer la gente y la cultura de los posibles destinos a los que viajo. Me gustaría aportar mi granito de arena en la lucha por el desarrollo sostenible de los territorios y contribuir a un mundo mejor.
Licenciada en Veterinaria, he trabajado en algunas explotaciones extensivas de ovejas y vacas en España. He estado en Camerún trabajando en un proyecto de desarrollo formando y enseñando agricultura a jóvenes.

Finalmente, somos una pareja que busca nuevas experiencias de viaje en América, hemos estado el último año en México y Cuba, y ahora soñamos con Chile. Creemos que Workaway puede ser una buena manera seguir con esta vida que llevamos y tal vez encontrar en Chile un lugar donde quedarnos a vivir...

Somos dos personas, jóvenes y maduras, con muchas ganas de trabajar y aprender cosas nuevas. Nos gusta el campo, la naturaleza y estar en contacto con la tierra. Hemos viajado por distintas partes del mundo y hemos estado en contacto con diferentes culturas, nos gusta compartir con la gente e integrarnos allá donde vamos. Tenemos experiencia con diferentes ONGs en Europa y en África. No nos dan miedo los trabajos manuales ni ensuciarnos las manos, siempre que el objetivo sea algo por lo que merezca involucrarse y trabajar.

Venimos de una zona medianamente rural, y la vida en el campo está en nuestros genes. Sabemos lo que es cultivar un huerto o recoger patatas, y el manejo y la cría de animales, grandes y pequeños, está en el día a día de nuestras familias y nosotros lo compartimos.

En México hicimos varios workaway donde aprendimos un chingo de habilidades nuevas como carpintería, leña, cultivar maguey y producir mezcal, albañilería, etc. También estuvimos en un bonito proyecto en una ONG con personas migrantes y refugiados.

ENGLISH

We are two people, young and mature, eager to work and learn new things. We like the countryside, nature and being in contact with the land. We have traveled around the world and have been in contact with different cultures, we like to share with people and integrate wherever we go. We have experience with different NGOs in Europe and Africa. We are not afraid of manual labor or getting our hands dirty, as long as the goal is something worth getting involved and working for.

We come from a fairly rural area, and country life is in our genes. We know what it's like to grow a vegetable garden or pick potatoes, and the handling and raising of animals, large and small, is in our families' daily lives and we share it.

We collaborated with some Workaway projects in Mexico, where we leard about wood, masonery, carpentry, maguey agriculture and mezcal production. We also worked in a nice project with migrants and refugees in a NGO.
