Hello! We're Nico and Carlos, a couple looking for an authentic cultural immersion. We're passionate about travelling differently, meeting local people and collaborating on projects with energy, dedication and respect.
We're hard-working. Together, we complement each other well in tasks such as cooking and cleaning. We are quick learners and, above all, we arrive with an open mind and a desire to help.
Our goal is clear: to step out of our comfort zone, learn about new ways of life and, hopefully, learn a little of your language.

We are fortunate to have been born with two native languages: Spanish and Galician. We also live on the border with Portugal, which has given us the opportunity to undertand some words and prases in Portuguese. We believe we have the ability to teach the basics of either of our two native languages to people who speak English. It would be a lot of fun and very rewarding!

Our main skills are assertive communication, open-mindedness, and resilience.
We both have experience in different sectors, but we have specialised most in the hospitality industry.
This experience has taught us skills such as teamwork, working under high stress and meeting high standards of quality in service and cleanliness.
Other jobs with less than a year's experience include garden maintenance, childcare for babies and children under 10, and private tutoring.

In addition, we would like to mention our specialisations:
Nico: Trained as a flight attendant (with high standards of professionalism and protocols). He is also an expert in geography.
Carlos: Senior technician in marketing and advertising and currently pursuing a university degree in commerce. Highly specialised in topics related to investments, finance, and stock market values.
Both of us have been working in the hospitality industry for years to pay for our studies and personal expenses, as well as this type of experience.
