Greetings dear host!
thank you for taking time to read my profile.
I'm Caren, a born South African farm gal that relocated to the Netherlands recently.
A solo traveler, enjoying my volunteering adventures, looking forward to meeting you and fellow-hearted people as I discover diverse beautiful Europe.

I can assist where needed with pleasure ~
Indoors, I am a good housekeeper and cook, getting the chores done easily.
Being practical, creative and budget conscious, I have renovated buildings and homes, establishing a guesthouse and backpackers. Even raised my 3 children.

Needing to ground myself, I'm content being outdoors, having dirty knees and the sun on my back!
For the love for mother earth I will gladly contribute my many years experience with agri- and horticulture; propagating, growing, pruning .. faffing in the garden and playing with your pets, looking after your livestock .. i miss mine terribly.
Hands-on I am a precise worker, paying attention to detail and being proud of a job well done. painter, fixer, maintainer .. and even mosaic artist.
If you are in need of a seamstress, i'm skilled, most willing to mend and sew as well as the machines you provide.

I consider myself to be a considerate, neat, mindful person, with common sense and a sense of humor ;-) a lil shy at first, but really enjoy interacting with warm people and animals.

Fortunate enough to have dual citizenship; valid South African and EU passports.
I have a South African driver's license, which unfortunately is not valid in Europe.
