I have traveling in Spain and Portugal for the next few months. I would like to meet local people and find new cultures. I am 60 years of age this year and looking for new challenges. I have worked all my life and used to hard work. I feel I need to experience new things and I am so happy that people have changed direction and are not afraid to do something new. I currently work with young people helping them deal with difficult periods of their life in out door activities.

I have currently work as activity carer with young people helping to deal with situations in their life. I help them learn independent living skills for the future. The aim is to introduce the young person to nature and the outdoors.
I have worked on my own houses and have had to renovate them so I am used to hard work in that area.
I have worked in gardens before, clearing and cutting.
I am fit and healthy and willing to work and do as required. I can work alone on tasks and enjoy the company of others, looking back and seeing a job well done.

I had a great week with David. On arrival he was most welcoming and immediately I had a good feeling about the place.

My first Workaway adventure. Thank you to Guido and Bird for a lovely experience. I spent 7 days at their wonderful place. I was given tasks to which I hope they were pleased with.
