Hello from Aine & Liam!

We’re a UK couple about to set off on the adventure we’ve been dreaming about for years - a two year journey around the world before making a new home in Canada!

Even though we travel as a pair, we’re both fiercely independent. Aine (pronounced Anya) has racked up multiple solo gap years and career breaks to explore the globe. Liam has spent the last decade pouring heart and soul into rebuilding his classic BMW- a project that’s grown into a big social media following. Now that the car is finally finished, we’ve sold up, packed our bags, and booked our one-way ticket to long-term travel.

What We Bring to the Table:
We’re both skilled professionals with more than ten years’ experience in completely different fields- so you’re really getting the full toolkit.

Aine:
- Marketing strategy & social media management
- Photography, video filming & editing
- Graphic design & event planning
- Hospitality, cooking, and a love of DIY/painting

Liam:
- Engineering know-how and serious car & bike maintenance skills
- DIY, building maintenance & power-tool wizardry

- Gardening, hospitality, cooking & cleaning

How We Travel:
We’re relaxed, curious, and slow-travel enthusiasts. We love settling into a place long enough to connect with the local community and really live there. Both of us are PADI-certified divers and always ready for the next adventure—whether that’s underwater or up a mountain.

Before our “grown-up” careers, we cut our teeth in hospitality: from cozy independent cafés to busy restaurant chains, we’ve done it all - hosting, waiting tables, kitchen help, cleaning, and more.
Aine has even completed two Workaways in Costa Rica, handling everything from marketing a hostel to cooking, cleaning, and guest hosting - and loved every minute.

Liam:
- Current job working as a maintenance engineer for Saint Gobain.
- Problem solver and hands-on worker
- Analytical and critical thinker.
-Past experience includes cooking and food preparation, cleaning, hosting, managing and customer service.
