We are Britt (29F) & Lorenzo (27M) - a Dutch / Italian couple that lived and worked in Amsterdam until a couple months ago, when we started our traveling adventure. We felt like we wanted to take a break from the 9-5 office life and explore the world and ourselves! We traveled to Indonesia, Australia and are currently exploring New Zealand. We are very excited to join the Workaway community!

We are excited to get our hands dirty again and find some projects that connect us to nature. We're eager to learn about sustainable agriculture, gardening, livestock, permaculture, foraging, living off the grid etc. but are also experienced with tech and would be happy to provide any kind of help we can.

Our dream is to retire on a farm and be as self-sufficient as possible, so we're also on workaway to gather intel and learn new skills ;)

Both of us:
- We speak 3 languages fluently: Italian, Dutch and English. Some Spanish and French.
- Both have backgrounds in hospitality (e.g. event management, catering, bartending, etc.)
- We are good at organizing activities/group events. Britt arranged the last 2 company's ski trips (150+ people over a few days) and Lorenzo used to arrange day trips, weekends abroad and activities for his student association (ESN Utrecht).
- Both of us can cook pretty well, using whatever ingredients are available.
- We can learn new things fast.
- Both of us are quite tech-savvy. We've worked in a tech company in Amsterdam for a few years, Lorenzo in marketing/sales and Britt as a legal counsel.
- Both of us are into travel, we work in the travel and hospitality sector, we can help a great deal with improving the digital presence and reach of small businesses, should you be looking for it.
- We've recently learned to make sourdough bread and are up to sharpening the skill!
- Both can drive and have an international license.
- House sitting, cleaning and looking after pets come quite naturally to both.
- Both have, in their past, lived in a house for a few years together with 10+ people. We're used to sharing and being respectful of other people (and their belongings).

Lorenzo:
- Fix/repair some things, usually because he breaks it and has to fix it. Most recent example: substituting his Macbook Air screen to save 250$ a couple months ago
- Drive mid-sized vehicles quite comfortably (7-8 mts vans for example)
- Can make music on his laptop and knows a fair bit about audio, sound systems and audio engineering.
- Has a degree in Business and specializes in online marketing
- Can massage and help with stretching
- Enthusiastic about nature and animals

Britt:
- Good with simple gardening. She can keep plants alive through the Dutch Winter. She is very excited to learn a lot more about it!
- Great at caring for others and providing advice
- Has a law degree
- Is into wine and cheese and would love to learn more about it
- Certified advanced diver
