  • Description

    Hello beautiful Workaway community!

I'm currently looking for volunteer opportunities in South East Asia. I have a lot of experience in customer service from my years managing hostels, love physical work outside and have experience building backcountry bridges, fences, farmwork, chainsaws, construction projects, etc. I'm also well-versed in renovation projects and have lots of experience painting. Ideally I could find a place where I can help out in multiple capacities. I really love meeting new people and working customer service roles but also find it extremely satisfying after feeling tired after a day of hard physical labour. Currently I work as a Park Ranger in Canada but I've also spent a lot of time cooking in restaurants and would be so happy to help out in kitchens and learn new recipes.

I'm looking for volunteer opportunities that provide a good chance to help out locals and really get a sense of community. I'm also a certified TESOL English teacher although apart from volunteer opportunities, I've yet to have worked in this capacity. I have a daily meditation and mindfulness practice so private accommodation is definitely preferred but not a deal-breaker. I'm conversational in French, German, Spanish and Italian and English is my native tongue.

If you think I might be a good fit to help you and your community out, please don't hesitate to get in touch! I'm available to volunteer from January - April and as of yet have no firm plans apart from being in Vietnam to travel with friends in February.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read my bio. Namaste and blessings :)
