Description
Hi!
My name is Beth, I’m 26 and from London. Growing up in a hugely multicultural city inspired me to travel widely and learn from different cultures in their natural environments. So far, I’ve been fortunate to visit over 40 countries, and these experiences have deepened my appreciation for cultural diversity, languages, and traditions.
At the same time, living in a busy city has made me realise how much I value being closer to nature. I’m passionate about sustainability and the preservation of our natural environments, and I believe that small, community-based projects can make a real difference. I hope to pursue a master’s degree in Sustainability and Environmental Psychology, and I’m eager to gain practical experience that connects people, culture, and the environment.
Beyond travel, my interests include reading, yoga, sports, hiking (though I’m currently recovering from a knee issue), and simply absorbing the feel of each environment I’m in to understand how it shapes us. I love taking adventures and I want to fill my life with as many as possible.
Professionally, I am a digital nomad teaching English online, with strong communication, administrative, and research skills gained from work in charities, education, and law. I’d be happy to share my English teaching skills with you or your community. If possible, I’d also appreciate access to Wi-Fi so I can continue working and volunteering remotely a few hours a week.
Most of all, I am enthusiastic, committed, and flexible — ready to get stuck in with any projects that help people and nature thrive together.

More details about your skills
I am an English teacher, so I'd be happy to help out if you have kids or family members who want to improve their English!
I worked in administration for 3 years so I am very organised, able to plan calendars, events and meetings with short notice to efficiency.
I am an athletic person, very able bodied and more than happy to help out with physical activities. Though I don't have much experience with farming or building things I am a quick learner and a good, hard-working assistant! I do unfortunately have a knee injury at the moment so I can't hike for more than an hour if the ground is uneven, but I love to play team sports and go on walks.
I am well-read, happy to discuss a number of topics in English or Spanish (B2 level but my conversation skills need lots of work, so I'd love to improve my Spanish with you by talking about interesting topics.

What else ...
I am ideally looking for a place where I can learn lots about the processes of a sustainable farm. I would love some experience at an NGO that specialises in these things as I am looking to do a Masters in Sustainability and Environmental Psychology next year.
If possible, I would love to keep teaching remotely too. It is also possible that I will have 10 hours of volunteering to do a week by the time I am with you, so access to the internet would be ideal!
