Hi it's Beth and Mike, we are really excited to start embarking on our travels. Over the next few months we plan to travel across the US, New Zealand and Asia. Having come from a small corner of the UK (just outside of London), we'd really love to get out and see as much of the world as possible. We're especially excited to see different perspectives and ways of life, and get involved wherever we can.

I come from a background of science, having studied Biology at university and now run a little science podcast in which I interview leading researchers about their work. Over the last couple years I have worked as a health promotion specialist for the Sexual Health Service which I have absolutely loved. It's been a diverse job involving running health and relationship workshops for young people and disadvantaged adult groups. I'm also responsible for testing people for HIV/Syphilis. I have loved the human aspect of my job, and have been inspired to meet new people and hear their stories.

Mike is an Aircraft Mechanic for GE Aerospace, in which he inspects and fixes commercial jet engines. He really loves the hands on aspect of the job, which lends itself to any DIY and physical projects you may have. As well this, he has a passion for carpentry and the outdoors, particularly mountain biking, hiking, camping and rock climbing. He's a very practical person, and is also great with animals, every dog ever absolutely loves him! Being a massive foodie, he's really excited to try new recipes and sample food from across the world.

We're really excited to start our travels and meet new people from all walks of life, hope to hear from you soon.
