Description
We are Astrid and Ludovic, a youg couple from Belgium, Europe.
After both having worked 5 years here in Belgium, we decided to take a break and travel to South America from September 2024 to May 2025. Astrid is a speech therapist and both worked with elderly people and disabled children. Ludovic is a construction engineer who manages construction sites around Belgium.

We both love travelling, being in the nature, trekking and sleeping in a tent, meeting new people and tasting the local food anywhere we go. We both love adventure :) Ludo has travelled to Australia in 2018 - 2019 and worked in a hostel for 2 months (Cairns) and did some fruitpicking (close to Melbourne). Astrid travelled to Chile for 3 months in 2019 and did various workaway projects (bioconstruction, permaculture).

For this 8-months trip in South America, we would love to be involved in various projects close to nature, where we get to meet people and learn new things outside of our comfort zone. One project in each country we'll go through would be awesome!

Our main plan is the following (+/-):
- September 2024 : Peru
- October 2024: Bolivia
- November 2024: Chile
- December 2024 - January 2025: Patagonia (Chile & Argentina)
- February 2025: Argentina North
- March 2025: Ecuador
- April 2025 : Colombia

I have spent 3 weeks and those were the 3 best weeks of my 3 months volunteering in Chile. Gabriel is an incredible host.
