Description
I'm at my happiest when I'm out in nature, or exploring new places. I love to travel, and I love deep conversations with friends.
I'm looking to connect with interesting people, share stories, get my hands dirty in the garden, work on interesting projects...
While I'm likely a wee bit older than your average workawayer, I'm young at heart and a dedicated worker (however I'd really appreciate my own private accommodation, if at all possible) ;)

I have gained a great deal of skills while living and working in intentional communities, mainly cooking for groups (vegetarian/vegan) and housekeeping etc. I can also do Admin tasks if required.
I also have experience in house decorating (painting), light maintenance, gardening and elderly companionship.
I have had employment in the hospitality industry (reception, bar tending) and have some relevant skills.
I'm also great with animals, although I have only experience with dogs and cats. However, animals usually love me, and I'm a fast learner! ;)

I stayed at Silvana's place for about a week. The two of us instantly "clicked" and the experience was altogether very pleasant and satisfying. The tasks included sanding/painting a door, gardening, cleaning and cooking.

I very much liked my experience staying at Leny's, she's a very pleasant young woman who's working long hours at her job. In the meantime, I enjoyed working in her house: mostly cleaning, cooking, gardening, but I also got to wallpaper a room and did some smaller renovation tasks.

This is an fantastic place to volunteer! Alena and Hynek are putting a lot of love and effort into their little smallholding, which is almost self sustainable.
