Hello! My name is Annika, I am 19 years old and live in Hamburg, Germany.
I just finished high school and am now doing a gap year during which I mostly want to travel and volunteer to see more of the world, challenge myself and gain new experiences! :)
I love immersing myself in culture, going to the theatre or visiting museums. Learning about the history and culture of new places is one of my favourite activities while traveling. But I also really enjoy hiking and exploring nature, as well as horse riding!

I graduated high school in July 2024!
I speak German and English :)
Currently I am working in the kitchen of a café, preparing breakfast and sandwiches. So, I have experience with cooking and cleaning, but the job also taught me a lot about communicating and team work as well as time management and multitasking as I have to work in a small kitchen during busy hours together with colleagues.
Previously, I have tutored 5th and 6th graders and helped them with their homework.
I am also taking take of a horse twice a week, so I have experience working with animals!
Regarding travelling, I have travelled the US and Europe with friends, family as well as solo. Last August I volunteered in a Hostel in Scotland for 3 weeks.
