Dear Host Families,

My name is Anke, I’m from Germany, I'm 31 years, I arrived in Canada in July 2025 on a Working Holiday Visa, excited to explore new places, meet kind people, and gain valuable experiences along the way.

I’m a tidy, respectful, and reliable person who enjoys spending time outdoors and has a deep love for animals. I speak both German and English and am happy to help with a wide range of tasks, including office work, gardening, housework, and pet care.

In Germany, I worked for nine years part-time with an event and catering company, gaining hands-on experience in organization, service, and teamwork. Alongside that, I worked full-time as a Management Assistant, developing strong skills in administration, coordination, and customer service.

For 15 years, I cared for my beloved cat, and after he passed, I volunteered at an animal shelter—experiences that strengthened my connection to animals and my dedication to their well-being.

I hold a driver’s license but don’t have a car, so I’d appreciate a location accessible by public transport or with the possibility of pickup from a nearby stop. I don’t smoke and rarely drink, so a non-smoking household would suit me best.
