Hi, I'm Angelica!
I'm originally from Colombia, so Spanish is my native language. I moved to France four years ago — first for an exchange program and then to continue my studies — so I also speak fluent French. I’ve been learning English since I was young, and I feel comfortable communicating in it.

This summer, I'm traveling with my best friend, Dana. She's also Colombian and speaks both Spanish and English. After several years living far apart — me in France and her in Colombia — we finally have the chance to travel together. We’re both excited to explore new places, discover new cultures, and share this journey.

Dana recently finished high school and is currently studying pastry. She's passionate about cooking and creative handcrafts. I’m more focused on nature — I study biology in France and will be starting a master’s degree in September.

Even though we have different hobbies, we both share a deep love for the outdoors. We enjoy spending time in nature, walking, exploring, and learning from what surrounds us. That’s one of the main reasons we decided to volunteer together — to live new experiences while staying connected to what we love.

We also grew up as scouts, so we’re used to teamwork, simple living, and being in close contact with nature. We're not afraid of working hard and are always ready to lend a hand wherever it’s needed.

We’re both open-minded, curious, and eager to contribute to meaningful projects while meeting new people and learning from different ways of life.

I'm a very dynamic and versatile person with a wide range of interests and skills. I’ve already done volunteer work, mainly as a youth leader in different associations. For example, I’ve worked with AFS, helping prepare exchange programs for teenagers (15–18 years old), and with EDDF, a secular scout organization in France, where I was in charge of groups of children and teenagers (ages 6 to 15). These experiences helped me develop strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

I’m very comfortable working outdoors. I enjoy gardening, taking care of animals, and doing physical tasks. I’m also quite artistic — I love drawing and painting in my free time.

I’m also very sporty. I’ve practiced several combat sports such as karate, krav-maga, and judo, and I’ve also done circus arts and climbing. I love to run and swim regularly, and I’m always happy to stay active.

Finally, I really enjoy music and dancing — I love any opportunity to connect with others through movement, rhythm, and creativity.

I'm always ready to learn new things, take initiative, and help wherever I can!
