Description
Hey there! I’m Andrey, a 32-year-old Italian-Brazilian who’s been traveling, working, and living outdoors for the past decade. I’ve just wrapped up my fifth season as a trekking guide in Torres del Paine National Park in Patagonia, and I’m now looking to start a new chapter exploring and contributing across Europe.
Funny enough, Workaway was actually the first platform I used to travel back in 2016; almost ten years ago, with far fewer skills than I have today. It was the beginning of a life-changing journey, and now, nearly a decade later, I’m excited to reconnect with this community and keep learning, growing, and helping along the way.
Over the years, I’ve gained wide-ranging experience in hospitality, outdoor guiding, hostel and bar management, and volunteering. I’ve managed ski hostels in the Chilean Andes, worked in bars and restaurants, led high-end hiking trips, and coordinated teams of volunteers. I’m hands-on, easygoing, and happy to help in whatever is needed.
I speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese fluently, with basic French, and I genuinely enjoy connecting with people from all over the world. I love being part of a team, learning from different lifestyles, and sharing a bit of my own energy and experience too.
On my time off, you’ll find me outside; snowboarding, hiking, climbing, surfing, swimming, or slacklining. I enjoy the simple things: good conversation, good food, and meaningful exchanges.
Currently in Brazil, I’ll be landing in Europe in August 2025, now with my EU passport and international driving permit in hand. I’m open to both short and long-term stays, ideally in mountain or coastal areas, and especially roles that let me contribute while staying active and close to nature.
Looking forward to meeting great people and being part of inspiring projects again!Interests

I’ve always been fascinated by language and communication. Back in the day, I even started a university degree in Languages, focusing on Portuguese and English, though I didn’t complete it, that interest stayed with me. After several years living and traveling through Chile, I became fluent in Spanish as well, often using English as my main language to communicate with travelers and colleagues. Now, I speak Portuguese (native), English, and Spanish fluently, and basic French understood and Italian. I genuinely enjoy the process of connecting with people across cultures and languages; and I’m still aiming to learn a few more along the way.Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn
