Description
Andrea:
I love slow mornings with a good and slightly too strong cup of coffee, or occasionally a cup of tea, preferably in a cup as big as my head. I'm a kind and attentive person and I do my best to be positive and enjoy the little things. I'd like to think I succeed about 80 % of the time :) I am an outgoing and social person.
I love taking photos and videos of all things beautiful. I am normally documenting it all on my instagram (@andreaasvensson). When I have a moment to slow down, I do so with a good book or some music, but I also love solving a tricky crossword-puzzle together with my mum. Movement is my therapy, so a moment to slow down for me can also be to go for a run, do a workout or if i'm lucky play a bit of football somewhere.
I started traveling when i was 21, i am now 24 and i am not quite done yet, i'm not sure i'll ever be. For now I just know I want to see more of the world, swim in a lot of lakes and oceans, eat amazing food, meet cool people and learn a lot.
Eventually I think that I would like to teach. In school I studied mathematics and science and it is still something I love learning more about. After graduating I worked in a school teaching both those subjects and there I found a passion to teach and help where I can. I have also worked in hospitality since i was 16, in cafes, restaurants, football arenas, you name it. Most recently I was a manager at a french cafe in New Zealand. I love all the different people you get to interact with and maybe even get to put a smile on their face while they are getting their morning coffee :)
Kevin:
I like dancing, with or without music, preferably with but I never seem to find a moment without having a little dance. I love to tell some of the stories that I made in my 6 years of traveling and listening to stories from others.
Scuba diving is my passion, I am a scuba instructor and after a while of being without the sea I soon start craving it again. Just seeing the peaceful and undisturbed creatures makes me calm and happy. As does teaching people how to interact with the underwater world!
I have always been a fan of adventurous sports like contact sports, climbing or motor racing. The feeling of losing yourself in what you are doing is one of the most exhilarating feelings I can think of.
In school I studied Theoretical Technical Physics, like math, quantum/nuclear physics. It got me very interested in our world and how it works. I always like to think that this was the kickstart that got me into traveling and exploring my curiosity. I never finished it though. Because after two years of studying I packed up all my stuff and went to Thailand to become a monk. But let’s leave that story for another day!Interests

Kevin:
During my travels I needed to make money, I did this in many ways: Scuba Diving Instructor, English teacher, Race Horse Breeder, Lumberjack, Construction site team leader and much more.
I learned a lot at those different jobs, like working in teams or making long working hours while working with my hands.
When I travel I tend to use couchsurfing as my general way of lodging. It's an app that lets you stay with people for free for a few nights and share stories, foods or drinks with each other. I have made it my courtesy that I always try to find something to fix for my host, as a way to say thank you and to be remembered in a good way. I can fix A LOT:
Plumbing stuff, electrical components, your grandma's computer, cars, chainsaws, you name it.
Andrea:
In general I am very open minded and willing to learn new things and skills. I learn quickly and happily!
I love taking photos and making short movies, it's something I have loved since I was a kid. I also enjoy working with social media.
I really like cooking and baking. I also like to paint, draw, gardening and I definitely do not mind any physical work.
