Yes, I finally did it!
After six years in a permanent IT job and stable life, I decided it was time for a change and so I quit my job. I’ve always dreamed of exploring new places, cultures, and meeting people from around the world, and now, I’m making that dream a reality.
A bit about me: I’m a history enthusiast with a passion for ancient civilizations, particularly the Greek and Roman empires. Lately, I’ve been diving deep into fascinating aspects of religion and its history. You might wonder how someone from an IT background ended up so interested in these topics. Here’s the story:
I was born in India into a middle-class family where education was the top priority. My parents did a fantastic job of ensuring I had a solid foundation, but as a child, I didn’t have many opportunities to explore my interests in history, culture, and politics. After completing my bachelor’s degree in IT, I worked hard and saved up to take a leap of faith. In 2019, I moved to France to pursue a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship. Since then, I’ve been working nonstop.
Now, I’m taking a break from IT to follow my true passion: history, culture, ancient manuscripts, and architecture. Along the way, I hope to meet amazing people, share stories, and learn from one another.
A while back, someone mentioned Workaway to me though I can’t remember who but recently, as I lay in bed contemplating my next steps, the idea came back to me. I’m so grateful for the people who created this incredible platform and community. It aligns perfectly with my goals, and I’m thrilled to be part of it.
I’m not doing this for money, I’m doing it for the experience, the connections, and the chance to contribute to a global community. I bring with me strong IT skills, but more importantly, I’m great with people. I thrive on bringing out the best in others and spreading positivity wherever I go.
I pride myself on being organized, clean, hygienic, punctual, friendly, adaptable, considerate, and responsible. I’m also self-motivated and love inspiring those around me. Making people smile is one of my greatest joys.
Thank you to everyone who’s made this community possible. I’m excited to dive in, contribute, and connect with like-minded people from all walks of life.Languages

"To have another language is to possess a second soul." – Charlemagne I believe language is one of the best icebreakers. I’d love to teach the languages I know and learn new ones along the way. Speaking someone’s language, especially when it’s not your own, feels like unlocking a special connection, it’s like earning a little place in their heart. The surprise and joy it brings are priceless!Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

More details about your skills
IT Stuff: Have a tech issue? I’m your person! From fixing mysterious computer glitches to explaining why “turn it off and on again” is always the first step, I’ve got you covered.
Organization: I can turn chaos into order faster than you can say “Marie Kondo.” Need a perfectly alphabetized spice rack or a spreadsheet that practically sings? Done.
People Whisperer: I’m the Dr. Phil (I'm not bald though lol) of awkward situations. I connect with people, resolve issues, and somehow leave them smiling bonus points if there’s coffee involved.
Entrepreneurial Shenanigans: My master’s in Entrepreneurship taught me to think outside the box. Whether it’s brainstorming creative solutions or winging it when plans change (because they always do), I’m ready.
Cultural Chameleon: I’ve lived and travelled in/to multiple countries, so I’m great at navigating cultural quirks. Need someone to eat questionable snacks at a local market? Sign me up (but maybe pack some backup snacks). I can talk hours and hours about the films and art
Jack-of-All-Trades: Tech? Check. Organizing? Double-check. Teaching? Sure thing. Fixing random household stuff? I’ll give it a go and probably won’t break anything.
Multilingual-ish: Fluent in English, proficient in Hindi, and my French will either impress you or make you laugh, it’s a win either way lolAge
