hello, I am Amy. I've loved all my workaways so far, and am ready to do more!
I would like to always learn and add to my skills and experiences, having fun along the way. i have worked in restaurants since my first job, so I have experience there. I'm happy mixing in with groups, I feel I can get on with anyone, but I also enjoy working alone and time to myself. I have a pull towards creative work, I also want to get outdoors more and enjoy nature. I'm here to learn and to be of service and share.

My effort! I put all I have into what I do. Patience and care, and enthusiasm.
I have experience in childcare, waitressing, kitchen work. My first workaway was helping out at a brewery, and I did some sanding and garden work. I went to Tanzania with a great team of volunteers, which gave me lots of experiences, joy, and skills such as teaching, building, lots of team and also individual development, working with a community. I enjoy painting and drawing. I am looking to gain new skills. On other workaways I have split and stacked firewood, had guidance with carpentry in order to help with some roofing/construction, cooking, selling, helped with running events, b&b care, cleaning, painting.

I have travelled a little, but i am looking to expand my experiences and want to keep it up and grow and enjoy life's moments! Looking for open minded, accepting people because that is how I want to be. I would love to help out with whatever I can.

Amy was amazing to have stay with us.
Not only did she help out at my place everyday, she popped over to my parents place and helped with building their house.
Amy was up for any challenge or task. No question about it. We would have Amy back any time!

Amy was a joy to have with us. She exceeded all of our expectations, not just in the working sense, but in every way. She was fun, upbeat, interested in all that we did, enjoyed the dogs (and vice versa) and befriended my 14 year old daughter in a genuine way.

The problem was that she had to leave so soon...Amy is welcome in our home anytime!

Wow! I had such a lovely time at Petra’s! She kindly showed us around the island, taking us to community events and cool beaches. I felt so comfortable with her family and home, and the work was fun and fair. We had really interesting conversation, often around our shared meals which were great! I really had a great time here!

I had such a wonderful time with this workaway. The family are amazing and welcoming, and they have a beautiful home. The work was varied and satisfying for me, and I enjoyed my downtime too. It was easy to visit further afield, but I was happy with a lake, great food and conversation, wonderful beer and the forest! Thankyou so much!
