Hello everyone,

I am Alina, an enthusiastic traveler from Germany who mostly enjoys discovering the countryside. My work in development cooperation has enabled me to live and work in different places around the world.

I would describe myself as an open-minded, calm and empathatic person. I love spending time in nature and around animals and try to be very aware and respectful of my surroundings. I am curious to meet people of different backgrounds and cultures and to share experiences and knowledge. I am excited to engage in workaway as a means to meet locals in the area that I travel to and gain experience in different kinds of work.

My hobbies and interests include literature, hiking, yoga, art and painting.

I have experience in taking care of animals, mostly dogs and cats, and gardening, including growing vegetables on a small scale. I am a quite skilled babysitter, as I have been frequently taking care of my nephew since he is 4 months old. I enjoy cooking (including from scratch and for larger groups), doing yoga and painting and would be happy to share this with you. I also have basic skills in using a sewing machine and assembling furniture.

Moreover, I am also very open to learning new things such as farming and handywork.
