Hello everyone,
My name is Alexandra. I'm a french 21-year-old girl who loves nature and sports, among which swimming, climbing and fitness. I am taking a gap year from studying, in order to experiment new things, closer to nature.
I would love to discover a new area in Europe, during one month or so between November and December. In particular, I would be thrilled to help you with handy activities like in a farm, or for a renovation project.

We would be happy to teach french to our host. We would like to improve our knowledge of languages, in particular english and maybe german, so this is one of the reasons why we are looking for a host abroad. If there are other workayers that speak another language, we would be open to learning the basics of their language.

Martin and I (Alexandra) are both engineering students. Therefore we are qualified in science in general, but we also have manual skills.
Indeed, Martin grew up in a small village in the East of France, so he is quite comfortable with tinkering and with woodworking.
For me, I love creating small projects like DIY for the inside of a house, and I also plan on learning how to build bigger furniture. I have already worked on a construction site so I am capable of manipulating cement and stones.
Both of us are very dynamic and curious, and we plan on learning more about nature-related work, such as growing vegetables or harvesting fruits. We are also eager to put our skills to work on small-scale renovation projects.

We love playing board games such as Dobble or more complex games.
Apart from that, we are interested in practicing sport in nature while we stay with our host. If that's possible, we would like to go hiking or running or even cycing in the surroundings, and even swimming if the sea isn't too far away.
