  • Description

Hi! I'm Alessia, an Architecture student in the final year of my master’s degree.
I decided to embark on this experience because I feel it's the right time to live something different before starting my professional career. I want to challenge myself, be helpful, and learn as much as I can from everything around me – especially from the people I’ll meet along the way.

I come from a small seaside town in Puglia, southern Italy, but I’ve been living in Milan since 2019. Traveling has always made me feel alive, and what fascinates me the most is how we can feel “at home” even in completely new places – especially when we’re surrounded by the right people. That’s exactly what I’m looking for: meaningful experiences, places to discover, and people to share even just a small part of the journey with.

One of the main reasons I chose to go abroad is also to improve my English. I truly believe the best way to learn a language is to live it every day, in an inspiring and international environment.

Over the years, I’ve done several jobs: I worked as a barista, a waitress, I organized events, and in Milan I worked as a dog sitter while studying. I'm a reliable, responsible, and curious person. These different experiences have taught me to be flexible, to work in a team, and to adapt quickly.

I love animals, the sea, the mountains, and staying active as much as possible – whether it's helping out in a new place, trying to surf, going for a walk, cooking, or simply having a nice conversation.

I truly hope to find a place where I can lend a hand, learn something new every day, and live an authentic, enriching experience.

  • More details about your skills

I consider myself a very adaptable and hands-on person. Over the years, I’ve had different types of work experiences that helped me develop useful skills in various environments.

I’ve worked as a barista and waitress, so I’m comfortable with customer service, managing busy environments, and working in a team. I’ve also helped organize small events and have good organizational skills – I enjoy planning and making things run smoothly.

In Milan, I worked as a dog sitter while studying, which taught me a lot about responsibility and time management. I love animals and feel very comfortable taking care of them.

I’m happy to help with cleaning, reception tasks, kitchen duties, or anything else that’s needed. I’m a fast learner, not afraid to get my hands dirty, and always bring a positive and proactive attitude. I’m also very open to learning new skills if needed – I love being useful and involved.

As a future architect, I’m also creative and enjoy working on visual tasks or anything involving aesthetics and design.
