Description
Heyyy I am Alayna and I am from Yorkshire. I have always been travelling for most of my life as we used to go away as a family of four a couple of times a year across the UK, where I was born. There are many family holiday parks like Butlins and Pontins which I have fond memories of besides staying in cottages in Bath, Isle of White, The Scottish Highlands and Cornwall to name a FEW. Also coastal areas and cities/rural towns here, my google photos is full of nature trips that we have had to the beach. As both a family and individually we have been in so many hotels and beds across the globe and when visiting my family in Asia too. Haha it's just something I sort of reflected on like wait... How many beds have I even slept in in my life?
I have been to 30 countries now. Last year I went on three back to back holidays they were Cyprus/Jordan, Switzerland/Italy and then I finally joined workaway in December and went to Turkey/Austria. In Switzerland we went on the Glacier Express, Bernina Express and a series of many trains, cable carts, chairlifts etc. Yes, it was truly breath-taking.
In December I went to Turkey and Austria. Beautiful experience and people. Some of my experiences were picking delicious sweet fruits, tending to multiple cats, dog walking, cleaning and tidying up.
Most recently in April 2025 I went to Norway and Sweden for my birthday month. We stayed in a Viking ship that had been converted to a hotel and I really enjoyed myself. Other activities I have been doing most recently is tending to my new plants/herbs, healing through yoga, cat sitting, going on regular walks, scrapbooking and cooking which I find very therapeutic. Let me cook for you!
I went to the Vegan Festival and Tulip Festival over the weekend.Interests

I think language is beautiful. The way we all make different sounds, how the text look so different, when children speak so fluently in something so foreign to me and how they even came about in that part of the earth. The accents lolSkills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

More details about your skills
I have volunteered for many years with a local gardening group, we took part in many outdoor activities such as planting trees, weeding and collecting apples. This November in 2024, I have been volunteering wrapping Christmas presents at church.
I have also volunteered in a library before for a few hours a week.
I can cook very well, I enjoy walking and hiking, I have made and gifted many art& craft items before. I like singing in the car for fun sometimes. I want to give back my time.Age

What else ...
I love playing all types of board and card games. I did so during my job role as a Teaching Assistant for children with special needs, UNO particularly is a game I love playing and it reminds me of my childhood. Even a good old fashioned pack of cards. I joined a games club nearby recently and that has been fun and eye opening. I'm sure there are plenty across the globe that I do not know about.
