Hello, my name is Alanna. I'm from Berlin, Germany but I've been living and studying in Constance, Germany for the past three years. Now I would like to travel. To learn more about diffenent cultures and nature and to learn new languages.
In my free time I like to work out (running, Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, dancing), read, listen to music/ Podcasts and play darts.
Living in student housing for the past couple of years I am well accustomed to living together with many different people.
I grew up around cats and dogs and did horse riding as a child.
I would like to do something that helps people and the enviroment.
As I am concerned about the enviroment and love animals I have been Vegan for three and a half years.
As of August I am fully vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine.

I am a quick learner.
I have expierence in teaching Zumba and Zumba Strong courses and am very active.
I know how to cook vegan food.
I grew up around animals and know how to care for dogs, cats and horses.
I am fluent in English and German and know a little bit of French, Spanish and Italien.
I know how to clean and take care of a household as I have been living in shared flats for the three years.

I like to do puzzels and play cards with my flatmates.
As I have mentioned I am vegan and gluten free. This however is not a big deal. I am happy to cook for myself and wont make a fuss about it.
I am really interested in traveling and exploring the world in an enviroment conscious way. I am open for new expieriences and would really like to learn new skills.
I have not traveled with workaway before but have visited several diffenrent countries (mostly the UK and Ireland, but also France, Switzerland, Austria and the US).
I have worked with teenagers in my community in the past and used to have a JuLeiCa (a german "liscence" to look after teenagers) but I have not renewed it in a while.

Alanna's work ethic is solid and she demonstrated this by sorting through a tardis shed of stuff for days, making sense of it all. This is something we had not been brave enough to attempt. She is mature with a great sense of humour and connection, tidy and punctual. We would recommend her for any job both exchange and paid work.

I had a great time at Liz's place. They were very nice and welcoming. The work was fun. I got to help clean a shed and do some veggie gardening. It was a great stay. Would definitely recommend.

I had an amazing time at Pippa's. She is an extraordinary person who made me feel welcomed and taken care of immediately.
The accommodation is very nice and clean.
The animals are great and taking care of them did not feel like work. The tasks are not hard once you figure out how to communicate with the animals.

Alanna lived with us for more than a year and I can't even begin to describe how lucky we are to have had the chance to host her and spend all this time together.
