An English Language teacher, aspiring writer, and a bit of an adventure-seeker!
Both friends and work colleagues have described me as an approachable, imaginative, and honest person.
I am a firm believer in meeting other people halfway in both my professional and social life, and find the most fulfillment when I succeed in helping others progress further in reaching their goals.
I especially enjoy learning new skills on the job and am particularly interested in working outdoors where possible.
As a newcomer to Workaway.info, I hope to achieve the following:
- Gain a variety of practical skills and knowledge while working abroad.
- Continue to improve my conversation skills in Italian (but also open to learning other languages!)

I welcome opportunities to enhance my English Language teaching skills, and am also especially keen to improve my conversational Italian and French. I have been learning Italian for the past year and hope to improve my spoken language and listening skills for work, daily living, and also to gain a more in-depth understanding of the Italian culture. My knowledge of French is also quite basic (mostly from secondary school) and I wish to improve my speaking fluency, pronunciation, and listening skills.

When I do pick up a book, it is usually fiction and am open to any reading suggestions or book recommendations.
I love watching films (particularly anything out of classic Hollywood!)
I like all kinds of board games and card games, but especially enjoy games that involve word patterns or puzzles (e.g. Countdown, Bananagrams, Articulate/Taboo).
