Description

We are Agustina and Lautaro, a friendly and hardworking couple from Argentina.

We have been living abroad since 2019, spending most of our time in Denmark and Australia, embracing new cultures and experiences. Now, we are excited to travel to New Zealand and would love to start our journey with a Workaway experience to immerse ourselves in the local culture—just as we did in Denmark.

We are eager to collaborate with our hosts in any way we can. We have hands-on experience in DIY projects, gardening, housekeeping, childcare, painting, and building, among other tasks. We are always open to learning new skills and helping out wherever needed.

We do not smoke or use drugs and drink alcohol only occasionally. Agus is vegetarian, while Lautaro eats everything. We love meeting new people, sharing experiences, and working as part of a team.
We are looking forward to connecting with hosts and contributing with positive energy to your home or project during our stay in New Zealand.

What else ...

Agustina:

I completed my secondary studies in an agricultural school in which I acquired skills of livestock farming and agriculture.

After finishing my university studies, I traveled to Colombia for two months to volunteer with children in a situation of social vulnerability in which I coordinated a workshop related to artistic expression.

Before working as a music therapist, I worked as a nanny for a long time. I love children!


Lautaro:

I worked as Transport Analyst in General Motors (car factory) until 2018. In 2019 I resigned to start preparing the trip to Denmark (we have many cactus to sell yet)

Since I was little I liked gardening. I have had vegetable garden, aromatic and even a hanging garden (see photos). Last year I built with Agus a garden with cactus and succulents at the entrance of my house.

I like to build things! A few years ago I made my own wardrobe and with my father we built my sister's room.


Together:

In addition to the nursery, we have a small factory of cement pots and we have done many jobs among which stand out the construction of a table that serves to play the piano and as a desk (see photos), the placement of a floating floor in the apartment of Agus, the remodeling of her cupboard and many more. We really like to work together!
