  • Description

Hi! I’m Agata, a passionate traveler from Poland who loves exploring new places and cultures.I love to travel—I’ve been to 49 countries so far, and I still feel like it’s just the beginning! I’m a very open-minded, friendly, and energetic person, who doesn’t shy away from challenges and loves trying new things. I’m into sports, especially horse riding, hiking, and spending time in nature. I’ve volunteered in various countries such as Switzerland, Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, and Indonesia.

    A little about me:
💻 I’m a UX/UI Designernby profession, with experience in marketing and branding, so aside from physical work, I can also help with tasks related to web design, graphics, or promotion.
🐴 I have plenty of experience working on farms—taking care of animals, helping in the garden, and doing various physical tasks.
🌿 I’ve also worked in resorts and hostels, where I handled reception, small maintenance tasks, cleaning, and guest interaction.
💪 I’m hardworking, great at physical tasks (quite fit as well), and a fast learner. Having grown up surrounded by animals—my family runs a dog breeding business—I have lots of experience in caring for them. I love outdoor work, being close to nature, and exploring new places while meeting new people.
🌍 I’m fluent in English and speak a bit of Spanish.

My Workaway experience (I volunteered 10 times):
    - Switzerland: Pet sitting, helping care for a dog being trained to become a guide dog for blind people.
    - Thailand: Taught English to children, assisting them in improving their language skills through interactive lessons and activities.
    - Laos: Worked at a resort, managing the reception, handling social media, and assisting with general maintenance and guest services.
    - Malaysia (1st hostel): Worked at a party hostel, helping with cooking, housekeeping, general maintenance, and guest interaction to ensure everyone felt welcome.
    - Malaysia (2nd hostel): Managed the reception and scooter rentals, assisting guests with inquiries and rentals at a local hostel.
    - Malaysia (horse farm): Took care of animals, including feeding, grooming, cleaning, treating small wounds, and general care for horses on a horse farm.
    - Australia: Worked at a cattle farm, assisting with animal care (horses and cattle), feeding, and general maintenance like repairing fences.
    - New Zealand (sheep farm): Helped with animal care, feeding, and general maintenance on a farm with sheep and horses.
    - New Zealand (organic farm with Maori community): Assisted with gardening, general farm tasks, and visited a Maori school to engage with the local community.
    - Philippines: Volunteered at a hostel, helping with general maintenance, managing the website, and assisting with social media.
    - Indonesia: Worked at a party hostel, ensuring guests felt welcome and assisting with day-to-day operations.

  • What else ...

We really like to play volleyball, board games and watch sunsets. We travel by hitchhiking together. Agata plays some guitar (she's just a begginer) and we really like to sing, but we aren't very good at it (but the most important is fun!) We like to explore surroundings, especially by bike or on walk.

If we manage to meet, we really care about friendly relations. We do not want to feel distance from the employee-employer principle. During this time, we become a family.
