Hello! :)
We are Leonor and Afonso, two 26 years old Portuguese. :) We are both people who love to travel, explore new cultures and landscapes. We joined the workaway platform because we believe it is a wonderful way of combining an authentic cultural experience with the opportunity to put our skills and interests to use!
We have done a couple of workaways together and hope to do many more :)
We both love being in nature, whether it is on hikes, sailing adventures or scuba diving.
Leonor: I am a recent graduate in environmental engineering and I am now working on the field of marine ecology and sustainable resource management. I am currently in between projects, which is a great time for traveling! :))) I enjoy doing sports (climbing, acroyoga, sailing) and love to cook. I also provide good music playlists. I really enjoy working outdoors, whether it's helping on a farm, in ecological projects or in any activity in nature.
Afonso: I would say my biggest treats are curiosity and eagerness to learn new things. That goes for maths, physics and coding on a more professional level, and all types of sports (particularly surfing, sailing, hiking, karaté and football) and languages on a more personal level :) My curiosity has led me to love travelling and getting to know people from different backgrounds and different life experiences. I also love to share everything I know about my home country, Portugal, my favourite place in the world!
I have been living and working in Norway for the past few years, and this year I took a sabbatical period to do a trip I have been wanting to do for a while: traveling with my sailboat up and down the beautiful Norwegian coast :)

I love sports and teaching, so I can teach the basics of surfing, sailing, football, karaté, chess and any other I can practice and learn along!

I love learning new skills and I think I learn quite fast, so I'll be happy to take any challenge!
