Hello ! My name is Adrien, I'm a 21 French student.
To talk a little more about myself and my character traits, the main facet of my personality is that I am a very passionate person. I am a rather calm person but also enthusiastic. I am very social but enjoy my alone time as well, and one can say that I am not really prone to stress. I have been doing sports since I was a child, Tennis is my favourite sport and I love playing, competing and even teaching it!. I don’t smoke and I like to enjoy the fresh air, and I love going out with friends!
As for my level of English, I have the equivalent of a B1 level, which I validated by taking the TOEIC exam with the score of 780 out of 990. Basically, I can get by in English in most situations likely to arise when travelling in a region where it’s needed. Finally, I have a few notions of German left over from my secondary school years.

Regarding my expectations and future projects, my ultimate dream is to become a sports journalist. It means I must improve my English to acquire more skills in my field. My goal is to join a prestigious school of journalism in Lille, in northern France, from September 2025. To achieve my goal, I decided to take a gap year to work in a new environment and new people where English will be at the heart of all discussions. That is why I am determined to learn to speak English fluently. I’m also taking this gap year to travel, to discover places and different cultures from the one I grew up in.

As for my day-to-day skills, my parents taught me to cook at a very early age, so I'm capable of preparing good dishes. I was also introduced to household chores at an early age, so I have no problem with washing dishes, cleaning floors and bathrooms, doing the laundry, mowing the lawn, weeding the garden, etc.
Concerning my studies, I just completed a bachelor’s degree in Sport-Business. I started this degree directly after graduating from high school by entering a school called the INSEEC Business School. During these three years, I studied marketing, commerce, communication and management around themes related to the economy of sport. I also had the opportunity to make my first professional experiences. A sales internship, another in local radio and one last in a digital sports media. I also have a Federal Tennis Initiator’s degree and a First Aid diploma.
While I was studying, I worked as a co-host and presenter on a sports program on local radio for two and a half years. During my three years at INSEEC, I did four internships, each lasting one month, two months, three months and six months. The first was as a sales assistant in a shop selling football shirts and products, the second in a local digital audiovisual media outlet, and the third in a local branch of the national radio station NRJ. Lastly, I worked for a digital print media outlet on the theme of outdoor activities. As far as my more manual work experience is concerned, I've also just finished a two-month stint in a cellar during the grape harvest near my home. 3 years ago, I also worked on the production line of a sawmill for a month during the summer.
I've never applied for or done any trips or voluntary work abroad before. My only experience as a volunteer was for my local tennis club in France, where I was assistant to the head coach as a federal initiator. I coached groups of adults and teenagers for nearly 5 years.

What else ...
I have always been fond of sports and have been training and competing in tennis since I was six years old. In my spare time, I watch a lot of sports competitions live on television, mainly tennis, football and Formula 1. I grew up close to nature and love outdoor activities like mountain biking and hiking. I also listen to a lot of music, a little bit of all genres but especially Electro Dance Music. My favourite DJ is Calvin Harris. Lastly, I am a massive fan of movies and series. My favourites are sci-fi and fantasy ones.
