Description
Hi there! We’re a motivated and friendly couple—Angus from New Zealand and Adri from Italy—keen to connect with projects focused on nature, community, and hands-on work. More details about your skills
Adri
I’m a Registered Nurse working in clinical research in Australia, with a postgraduate degree in diabetes education and health promotion. I’m passionate about helping people live healthier lives—through nutrition, exercise, and education—and I carry that philosophy into everything I do.
Beyond my professional life, I’ve discovered a real love for handy, creative work—like helping tile, building furniture, and converting a van into a tiny home. I may not have formal trade training, but I’m quick to learn and love being part of projects that involve problem-solving and creativity. I’m full of energy and love bringing ideas to life.
Angus:
I work as a Surveyor Manager in Sydney on large infrastructure projects (like bridges), where I share construction knowledge with my team and help solve problems daily. While my job isn’t always hands-on, I’m comfortable with manual work and know how to get things done safely and efficiently. I’m calm, practical, patient, and love a challenge.
Outside of work, I’ve been a surf instructor, surf lifesaver, and I am passionate about fitness and nature. I enjoy building things, fixing stuff, and staying active—especially outdoors.
🌿 Our Shared Values
We both live by the principle of low-impact living. Making conscious food choices trying to cook from local products, avoiding waste where possible, and learning how to live in harmony with nature. Sustainability isn’t just something we’re interested in—it’s part of our daily life.
We’d love to contribute to projects that align with this, especially those involving:
Farming, permaculture and caring for animals
Eco-building & community construction
Surf camps or projects by the sea
Village life or small community projects (like helping build schools, gardens, or shared spaces)
Light support with children or education, especially if integrated into community life
We’re easy-going, reliable, and always up for learning something new. We’ll bring our positive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to help in any way we can.
Looking forward to connecting and contributing to something meaningful together 🌍
