  • Description

We are two travelers who met on a recent ecological project and are now looking for a permaculture project as soon as possible.
    Are bios are as follows:

    (Adam)
At my core I am a people person, and my passion is majorly inspired by the people I care about. I am hugely excited to meet people from new backgrounds, and expand my perspective of life, to learn more about what motivates me and brings me happiness, and hopefully grant others this.

In particular, having finished an undergraduate degree in Computer Science (1st), I am looking for ways that I can develop these skills and my interpersonal skills to make a real positive difference in this world.
I hope that this will help me develop these skills and teach me new ones, such as construction, permaculture and maintenance skills, which I have taken for granted so far, having lived in cities and towns all of my life.

Throughout my life I have had the pleasure of visiting countries across the world. Since I visited rural Spain (Trillo), I have fallen in love with the culture of Spain and wish to learn Spanish and possibly move to Spain further down the line.

In Edinburgh I usually spend my free time making music and videos, going for walks in nature, having a drink with friends and dancing to live music.

    (Roberto)
Hi, I'm Roberto. I'm a kind, optimistic and very curious guy who's oh so eager to travel the world!

I've always been fascinated by people who don't see the world the way I do. I've always had friends from other countries and really enjoy spending time with foreign people. I'm quite lucky to be good with languages and believe to be open-minded.

I today desire to meet people from all around the globe, helping in as many ways as I can for the sake of inner-riches exchange. I love feeling into people, I love expanding with them.

I'm good at connecting and seeing into people in a non-judgmental way.

    (Adam)
Recently I took part in an ecological project; where I worked in the fields, harvesting, planting and weeding vegetables, and learning about the irrigation system. Prior to this I took part in a renovation project, where I helped build, install and upgrade structures such as roofing, insulation, a workbench and a compost toilet.
Studying Computer Science (BSc Hons, 1st) taught me how to program across all kinds of programming languages and create software designs, as well as learning about how to improve computer security and minimise risk. I also learnt how to use artificial intelligence and create computer networks.
In the future I would like to incorporate my computer science skills into helping people in a economically sustainable long term career.

I volunteered as an assistant teacher for computer science in my local high school, helping students (aged 12-18) and teaching a few advanced classes.

I also have experience working as a bartender, waiter and barista, which taught me how to work in fast paced environments, balance different responsibilities and quicky learn how to use different machines.

    (Roberto)
I've worked with children a few years ago. I was in charge of occupying them in a leisure center with many different activities as part of a diploma I passed to be a children's entertainer.

I've been an English tutor for my peers when I used to study back at the university. My job was to promote people talking to each other and have fun doing so without having the sensation of studying a language.

I've been working for nearly a year in a bakery as a seller in Lyon's old town. I used to be in contact with many non-french speaking tourists. I loved talking to so many different people from all around the world. I love being exposed to different views of the world as well as playing with so many different languages. I was the unofficial bakery official translator.

Lately I've been part of two ecological projects in which I enjoyed developing my farming and constructing skills ; from planting to weeding, from building a chicken coop to working on a wooden house foundations.
