  • Description

Hi! My name is Adam, I’m a medical student from Slovakia, currently studying in the Czech Republic. I’m very motivated to learn German because I would like to work as a doctor in Germany in the future. As part of this goal, I will be doing two medical internships in Germany—one month in Eggenfelden and one month in Stuttgart—which I’m excited about as a great opportunity to improve my language skills in real everyday situations.

I grew up in a small village, so I’m used to helping with various practical tasks around the house and garden. I enjoy meaningful conversations, learning from others, and being helpful in daily life. I’m easy-going, curious, and happy to support you with housework, gardening, or small projects. Although I have no previous experience with Workaway, I am motivated and eager to learn new things.

More details about my language interests
I’m very interested in learning German and would love to improve it through conversations and everyday situations. I’m especially looking for opportunities to practice speaking and listening in a natural environment. If anyone is interested, I’d be happy to help with Slovak or Czech – mainly with spoken language and everyday communication. I’m not a teacher, so I can’t explain grammar very well, but I’m happy to talk and help others practice. I also understand English on a basic level and can use it to communicate if needed, but I don’t feel confident enough to teach it.

  • More details about your skills

I’m a practical and reliable person who’s not afraid of physical work. I grew up in a village, so I’m used to helping with things like gardening, cutting wood, painting, cleaning, or doing small repairs. I enjoy working with my hands and doing tasks that have visible results.

I currently live in a city, but I really appreciate the peace and rhythm of countryside life. I’d be happy to support you with general maintenance, outdoor tasks, housework, or other small projects you might need help with.

Even though I don’t have previous Workaway experience, I’m motivated, adaptable, and willing to learn. I speak Slovak and Czech fluently, and I’m now focusing on improving my German – that’s one of the main reasons I’m here. I’d love to be part of your everyday life, learn from you, and practice German in real situations.

I don’t have experience with childcare or cooking for others, so I’d prefer to help in other ways where I can be more useful.

In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym and staying active through various sports. My biggest passion is medicine, and I spend a lot of time studying and learning about it. Because I want to work as a doctor in Germany, I’m highly motivated to improve my language skills, especially German and also English.

I enjoy relaxed conversations and meeting new people. Another big love of mine is football – I love watching and playing it whenever I get the chance.
