Fellow workawayers feel free to message me if you want to meet up!

    A little bit about myself:

I'm 25, born and raised in New Zealand as a 1st generation Kiwi (New Zealander).
I'm traveling to explore myself internally as much as the world externally, trying to live through different cultures and communities all over the world.
I am grateful to have been on the road for around 7 years now, I seem to have become addicted..

I am generally an unconventional human in the sense that I do not like to take the easy path. I like to explore different ways of everyday life in from different cultures, and am often surprised and inspired by the lifestyles of different cultures, where they live so differently to what us "westerners" are used to.

I have an entrepreneurial spirit and tend to try come up with unconventional ways of solving problems both in every life, and in digital business.
I'm lucky to have started a few small businesses since the age of 16, successfully selling 2 of them, and somehow still remaining broke in the end :D

Most recently traveled my own country New Zealand from 2020 to late 2022.
I am now back to adventuring overseas and will be in Europe for some time.

I have been a lot into motorcycling but I think I’m done with that for a while. I Learned motorcycles in India, where you either live to become an expert, or die trying ;)

Since walking the Camino de Santiago in 2017, I became addicted also to long distance hiking, I think I've done enough of that to kill a camel... Although I haven't done much hiking over the past 2 years, after walking about 4,500km I feel like I may have over-done it a little.

I am lucky enough to be recent duel citizen of New Zealand and Germany.

I attended a Waldorf Steiner kindergarten and school, until moving to another school for the last 3 years.

During my free time, I love to experience the outdoors, including hiking, camping, photography, videography, cycling, and meditation. Overall just being in nature.

Thank you for reading this section, I hear from some hosts that my profile is a little different than most. If you find this to be the case, don't let it worry you, perhaps I am a little different :)

  • What else ...

I'm a traveler who loves to remain flexible, and to keep as much potential in the air as possible. Generally I don't plan ahead anymore than 3 weeks of my current situation. I understand many people don't like this method, because they like to have solid plans that they can follow. However I personally don't follow this method as it restricts spontaneity.

Thanks for taking the time to read my profile, if I have applied to you for a workaway opportunity, I hope reading my profile has helped convince you.
Please feel free to message me anything and everything.

    - Aaron
