  • Description

Hi! We are two friends from a small town on the Basque coast in northern Spain. We have grown up surrounded by nature and a very active lifestyle, where sport is a big part of our daily lives. We both love being outdoors, staying active and taking on new challenges.
One of the main reasons we joined Workaway is because we want to travel in a different way. We are excited to discover new cultures, meet local people and experience everyday life in other countries instead of just visiting as tourists. We also love food and are always happy to try new dishes and learn about local traditions through cooking.
We really enjoy spending time with children and have experience working with them. We are responsible, friendly, patient and enjoy creating a fun and positive environment.

I'm Adriana. I recently graduated with a degree in Psychology, and before starting my master's degree, I decided to take a gap year to travel, discover new cultures, and gain new experiences.

Hi! My name is Brais, and I grew up in a small town called Zarautz on the Basque coast in northern Spain.

I'm a very energetic and outgoing person. I've always enjoyed meeting new people, making friends, and learning from different cultures. Traveling is one of my biggest passions, and after working for several years at the same company, I've decided to take a year off to explore the world in a more meaningful way.

When I was 17 years old I went to Leiden Netherlands, for an exchange. It was a great experience to improve my english and knowing other cultures.

Besides, in 2024 I did volunteer work in Mombasa Kenia, teaching kids some english and helping them with anything they needed. It was one of the best decisions I ever made.

I want you to know that instead of being just a tourist, I want to experience local life, help people, and learn from every place I visit. In the past, I've taken part in volunteer experiences, including working with children, which I really enjoyed.

I speak English and Spanish, and I love staying active. Sport has always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy spending time outdoors, trying new activities, and taking on new challenges.

I'm a positive, responsible, and hardworking person who is always willing to help. I look forward to meeting amazing people, sharing experiences, and creating unforgettable memories together!

    Hi! I'm Adriana.
I'm a very hands-on person and I learn new skills quickly. Over the years I've enjoyed trying many different activities, especially those related to sports and movement. I trained in ballet, contemporary dance, and urban dance for more than 10 years, and I have also competed in athletics at a semi-professional level. I also love surfing whenever I get the chance.

Besides that, we both really enjoy playing Mus, a traditional card game from the Basque Country. We'd be happy to teach you how to play—it's a lot of fun and a great way to share a little bit of our culture while spending time together.
