Hi all! I'm headed over to NZ in Feburary, planning to spend Feb - April exploring through workaways/WWOOF, before a year or so working in Wellington.

I'm a civil servant working on biodiversity policy. After a long time sitting behind a desk, I've decided I need to get out into 'real' nature! Particularly interested in nature restoration and farming projects.

I'm a keen worker: I'm really open to any type of work, and have experience in cooking, cleaning, (basic) gardening and admin. I previously worked in marketing, so happy to help out with Web design, copywritering, etc, if relevant.

I love meeting new people: I'm very curious and open to discovering new cultures (and enjoy a good language exchange). I was born in the UK, both my parents are Polish. I've spent time working and volunteering in Spain + Nicaragua. My family come from a farming background in Poland: I thoroughly enjoyed spending time and helping out on the farm during summers growing up.

In my spare time, I enjoy going for long runs or walks in nature, yoga, dancing, cooking and catching the sunset.

Housework: skilled in cooking and cleaning.

Gardening: entry level! I can follow instructions and am eager to learn more. I'm small, but physically fit so happy to undertake physical work.

Animal care/farm work: basic tasks/understanding from spending time on my grandparents farm in Poland. E.g. digging up potatoes, feeding animals, helping with the wheat harvest.

Teaching: Native English speaker, experience teaching English as an additional language to adults and children in the UK and abroad.

Marketing/Sales: I've done several internships and have experience in Public relations (press releases, pitching), blog writing, social media, graphic design (Gimp, Canva), event organisation.

Customer support: answering phone calls and resolving issues for clients in a tech start-up. I learnt a lot about having a nice phone voice!

Languages: Spanish (advanced, C2 level), Polish (I can get by!)

Other: Medium Excel skills, drama and art, Bachelors degree in History... Very happy to pitch in whatever was I can!
