Hey I'm Angelica!

Creation, community, connection, growth - these are the fundamental principles that I live by, that make me who I am. I left my full time job (in psychology, which i do loveee) to seek out these things through travel and exploration. So far, I've discovered so much within and am now pursing art.

I'm currently learning how to hand poke tattoo so this has been my main career focus. I

One identifying characteristic is my passion, I love so many things and feel passionately about all of them!! Here are some things I truleyyy love to do: dancing, painting, pottery, going on adventures with other people, teaching, baking, camping, being with the sea, writing, spiritual growth, movement, cooking for other, horse back riding, reading fiction, photography, getting to know new people, and working on creative/collaboritive projects with others.

I’ve volunteered in hostels, homes and hotels and have always had such a beautiful experience where we all became a family! I want to continue making these meaningful connections with other volunteers and hosts :) Overall, I love to help others and learn new skills and bring kindness along wherever I go :)

I am so excited to join Workaway as I realized i wanted to connect with community and be of service. We are creative, kind, caring, openminded people and are so excited to be a helping hand for your sacred space!

As seekers of new experiences, I am highly motivated by the ability to learn and expand my world view. Whether it be instruments, recipes, gardening, or new languages, i find that there is inspiration in exploration and curiosity.

I also dream of one day creating my own eco co-living space with a focus on art and connection. I feel that through various workaway opportunities i can gather valuable knowledge and experiences to put towards that goal.

I have a wide array of hobbies, skills and experiences!

I am an artist, psychologist and tutor and would love to work on any kind of creative projects or get involved in community work. I am very interested in doing murals, mosaic work, or sculptures. I could also put together art projects for kids or community events!

I also have experience with photography, social media, events, management, hostels and serving.

I really value and love learning new skills in all areas! I'm also really hoping to learn more about permaculture, sustainability, animal care, herbal healing and community living. I'm really open to helping with whatever i can!
