Hi there!
I'm an active and outgoing person who likes being outdoors.
I enjoy meeting new people and learning new languages and skills. When I was a teenager, I did an exchange year in Austria where I lived with an incredible host family, who I still keep in touch with and visit. I made great friends as well, and got to play in the village marching band.
Through this experience I've gained multiple friends, also other exchange students, whom I've visited in their home countries. Also, these friends and experiences have enhanced my curiosity about cultural exchange and experiencing lifestyles different than my own.
Presently I'm taking a gap year from studying, and therefore long for a work-away experience in the outdoors, close to nature and with the possibility of doing manual labour. I'm practical, inquisitive and eager to learn new skills. It suits me to meet new people through shared projects, as I often find it a stepping stone for interesting conversations and companionship.

Through work away I have been helping with different gardening tasks; weeding, fertilising and pruning trees.

I have a bachelor’s degree in medicine and while studying, I have worked in home care for the elderly in my spare time. Therefore, I'm experienced in general housework and have some knowledge of health care, though I am of course only a student.
For many years I've been a scout and scout leader and therefore have experience planning and running various activities for kids and enjoy living and doing activities outdoors.
