Hello, my name is Nele, I am 22 years old :). I am from northern Germany and I will workaway during winter this year for my studies.

I am experienced in working with children as I am studying to become a teacher for primary schools. For my studies I need to stay abroad to improve my English language. I would like this to happen during various activities (the university does not require a special activity).

As a sportsperson, I like to be outside, go hiking, enjoy the sun and the sea. (I would love to learn to surf!) I would like to explore other cultures, meet interesting people and enjoy everything the world has to offer.

I love animals and would love to work with them as well. I am a vegetarian for almost three years now, vegan since January this year.

I am open-minded and I´d love to hear other people´s stories to learn more about life. I can pick up tasks very easily and am fluent in English. I have a drivers license and am fully vaccinated against Covid.

I am confident to spend time with children as I have taken care of children while babysitting in the past. Additionally, I want to become a teacher and have been working half time in a school for nearly a year. I am able to teach children new things patiently and friendly.

I am open minded for new tasks or to learn new skills. I enjoy cooking, cleaning and organizing around the house. As I have been living on my own for 2 years now, I am experienced in those things. Nevertheless, I am fast to learn and adapt.
Besides my studies I worked at a little bar near the Baltic Sea, so I am familiar with routines in that business, too.

During my stay in NewZealand my main goal will be to improve my English speaking skills. Nevertheless, I want this stay to be a chance to connect with people from all over the world, to learn new skills, build connections with the families and to have an unforgettable time.

I am interested in many physical activities such as playing volleyball, table tennis, board games, hiking and swimming. I am looking forward to learn how to surf.
