Katerina is a true original. She is witty, kind and sincere.She has a very practical mind and her hands know how to use tools, how to plan a job and how to execute any task with intelligence and great craft. She is also a good cook and a great team member. Come back Katerina!

Iga is super intelligent, conscientious and very focused. She is a quick learner who can easily adapt to a variety of situations in a skillful manner. We wishe her well and would be happy to see her again!

Conrad is a gentleman. He is wise, capable and great fun. He has enormous good energy and a life time of practical and business experience behind him. Should he knock at your door, roll out the red carpet !

Pour ma 1ère expérience en tant que Workaway, j'ai été gâtée de résider chez Chris. La maison est située dans un endroit calme en campagne, à proximité de très beaux villages typiques du Lot et Garonne. Chris a rénové une ancienne maison et un ensemble de bâtiments avec beaucoup de goût et beaucoup de courage. Mes conditions d'hébergement ont été plus que parfaites. La maison est joliment décorée, très confortable et chaleureuse. Sa chatte Minouche est un amour de chat. Nous avons beaucoup échangé avec Chris qui est une personne dynamique, ouverte et travailleuse. J'ai fait du jardinage et nettoyage de printemps de son grand terrain et rénové deux murs en pierres sèches. Je recommande vivement de séjourner chez Chris. La communication est fluide, et nous avons travaillé dans une bonne ambiance et parfois en musique. Merci encore à Chris de m'avoir accueillie deux semaines dans son petit havre de paix.

Eddy is a star! He is quick minded, very capable and full of enthusiasm. He is a slendid sense of humour and and a gentle heart. He is an all round good guy. Great with tasks, great in company and a moist sincewre and decent human being. Employ Eddy - he will be a great addition to your world !

Bernadett is fun, engaging and dedicated. She learns tasks very quickly and applies a calm focus to all of her work. She is lovely company and a delight to be with. I would happily welcome her back!

What an excellent fortnight we had with Andrew and Libby! Highly recommend them both. They are so respectful and thoughtful and easy going. There was always a story to share over dinner (and in between). It was what a exchange should be, interest between all in their respective countries, lives and experiences. I really admired Libby's stamina with stripping the bay window, didn't expect to get it just about finished. Andy is a 'jackal of all trades' and a lot of little things around the place got done beside the big job of completely stripping a bathroom back to studs. With their vast experience they offered suggestions but were never pushy. Andy is also a good cook, both are in fact and I enjoyed coming home to interesting, good home meals, nourishing at the end of the day. Thank you for making good use of the produce from the garden. We thank you again for all your help and company, it made a big difference around the place. All the best and we hope to see you again when you are back in NZ.

After three weeks here I can highly recommend a stay here. Very beautiful in an incredibly nice environment. Everyone in the family is open, happy and welcoming. There is a lot of warmth and laughter here, often with a twinkle in their eye. A nice experience, thank you for welcoming me.

When Gavin arrived at our home, I had already had many excellent experiences with Workaway, but his stay truly exceeded all my expectations. Beyond his very useful carpentry skills, and the generosity and responsibility he showed in every task he took on, what made him special was everything he gave beyond the “work” itself. He brought genuine warmth into our home, with my children, with me, with my husband, and with our friends. He became part of our daily life in the most natural and beautiful way: joining our barbecues, coming along to outings, and sharing far more time and connection with us than I had ever imagined. Having him with us was truly a joy. We already miss him deeply. I’m even taking a bit of time before hosting another Workawayer, because it honestly feels like the space he left will be impossible to fill. I very much hope he comes back someday, our home will always be open to him.

You have done the feedback before us, and what a feedback, it has melt our heart... Once again... ;) Thank you so much for everything, we felt so welcomed from the first minute to the last. We had time to introduce into Buddhisme culture at our own rythme and of course we took the time to rest in this peacefull place :) We can just add one more wonderful review about this place, and If you feel attracted, do not hesitate one second, you will be hosted and respected with your own personnality, your bright sides but also your weaknesses. Thank you for this, it is pretty rare nowadays. We already recommand this place to our relatives and I hope they will have the chance to come :) We will come back for sure :)

I spent a month here and I couldn’t have asked for a better first Workaway experience. Bori and Attila were always so kind and helpful. The atmosphere was so welcoming and family-like. I also loved meeting people from all over the world; it was beautiful to connect with so many different cultures and hear their stories. The work was always clear and well-balanced, leaving me free time to enjoy the city. I would truly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and friendly experience!

Colin was my first Workawayer last week. He did exactly what I asked him to do, and helped out tremendously on a roofing project, which needed two persons to complete. Colin's stay was for one week; but together we finished the project 👍👍👍 At times I had to leave the house, but Colin continued to work in his own initiative and carried out painting tasks. All in all, I highly recommend Colin for any host. And I would welcome him back for future projects.

It was truly a very pleasant time; I felt like part of the family. Aleksandra, Nika, Lela, and Murier are a small family with big hearts, lots of imagination, and excellent energy. You'll never feel alone.

Christophe a passé 15 jours à nos cotés où il nous a énormément aidé sur des travaux d'extérieur ( blanchir des fruitiers à la chaux , désherber , passer la débroussailleuse , bêcher , tondre ,etc ..) Christophe est toujours motivé , enthousiaste , impliqué dans les travaux que nous avons pu réalisé autant que possible ensemble . Il a la volonté de toujours faire bien et plus pour satisfaire au mieux les souhaits de ses hôtes et leur faire plaisir . Christophe s'adapte très vite et voit le travail là où il est sans que l'on ait besoin de lui dire . Coté humain , Christophe est une personne cultivée et intéressante avec lequel nous avons pris plaisir à échanger , partager en dehors des heures de travail. Merci pour ces récits de voyages inlassables ! Très respectueux de notre lieu de vie . Nous souhaitons à tous les hôtes de pouvoir bénéficier de sa présence , c'est un régal. A huge thank you for your warm welcome, your trust, and for sharing your wonderful philosophy of life. We had an incredible two weeks, which we would have loved to extend. Your project is an inspiration, and we were delighted to be able to contribute to it. A huge thank you also for the conditions in which you hosted us: a private room, the quality and variety of the food (more than just a market), the freedom to work and learn, and not to mention all those moments of sharing! well what can i say about the family! I was with the family for 3 months. from the first day I felt like part of the family, I had been travelling for 15 months when I arrived and was missing thee family environment and my nieces back home,they filled the gap I was looking for and more. event tho there was bit of a languages barrier, well more of an accent barrier with my thick Scottish accent this didn't get in the way of the love and respect that grew between us. I have new famy and. friends for life and I can not wait to seen them again one day. please come and joint this amazing, sometimes crazy (my favorite part) family you will not be disappointed. sending all my love to thee family and Lalo (their dog) not so much the cats ❤️❤️🕺

Anaelle & Jonathan stayed with us for almost three weeks, and it was really sooo nice to have them here. They are a very kind, mature, and grounded couple, and from the beginning it felt easy to have them as part of the community. At the same time, they are incredibly hardworking and capable, truly some of the most reliable volunteers we’ve had in a long time. Whatever task they were given, they approached it with care, attention, and efficiency. We could always trust that things would be done properly, and often even better than expected. That kind of consistency and responsibility is quite rare, and we really appreciated it. Beyond helping, they are just very warm and lovely people to be around, respectful, thoughtful, and easygoing. We feel very grateful they came to stay with us, and we sincerely hope they’ll come back very soon. Anyone who hosts Anaelle & Jonathan will be very lucky, we can wholeheartedly recommend them.

My visit to Fanny’s place was short as that suited us both at the time, but she was super welcoming and really friendly to talk to. She has also traveled a lot and knows what it is to be a workawayer herself. There is a lot of varied tasks to do and and lots of interesting things to get your hands dirty with, and she also very flexible and open for inputs. She speaks english super well and has many nice friends. I think that the main thing i appreciated with this stay was the fact that Fanny was engaged in working with you and not just asking you to do things! Great place to stay!! :)

Dear Sandrine and Felix :) The time we spent with you was truly precious. You were a truly harmonious couple. The ideas you shared, the love and energy you gave us, your approach to children, and your empathetic attitude towards us were all invaluable and wonderful. Thank you so much for everything. The week I spent with Brian & Mandy became a truly precious and unforgettable memory for me. From the very first moment we met, they welcomed me like family and always looked after me very well. They taught me so much about New Zealand’s culture and nature. Their home is beautiful and filled with a very good vibe. Mandy’s cooking is amazing and incredibly comforting. Brian teaches every task clearly, carefully, and with great patience. They are both kind and thoughtful—truly wonderful hosts. Thank you so much for everything. Keep in touch ;)
