    Description

We have a B&B And I also have several other jobs outside this. . We are in need of DIY skills and have a large garden to organize as unfortunately bad backs have left some jobs unmanageable. We live in Eymet, Dordogne, SW FRance (3 mins walk from the main square)our 15 year old grandson (weekly boarder)and his small dachshund Cesar share our home.
My husband is an avid sports fan and he and my grandson are big football fans. We offer a pretty double bedroom, ensuite shower and internet/wifi is available and you are welcome to share the television with my husband. Meals will be provided and dietary requirements within reason.

Practice your French in the busy Eymet market or chat with the locals who are all very friendly and helpful. Eymet is a medieval bastide town and the first market was here in the 11th century. There is a lot of history in this area not to mention the wonderful wines waiting to be tasted.

Ideally we are looking for someone, who has DIY skills, painting and gardening skills. In return for 5 hours work a day we will provide board and lodging. We have a large garden which is in dire need of clearing and weeding plus any landscaping (min budget) ideas would be much appreciated . We are in need of someone who is willing to give us ideas and we are happy to pitch in where we can. The use of a bike is available and we have an enormous amount of books for reading. The village square is a few minutes walk away and has a busy Thursday market not to mention the many pretty bastide towns and villages to be explored in the area. There is a daily bus to Bergerac.
We are hoping that whoever joins us will appreciate that this is our family home and are happy to mix in as such.
