  Hi,
  We are Max and Valerie!
  We are embarking on the workaway adventure for the very first time. After a long time welcoming/hosting travelers on our way, we are ready to go!
  We have been living in Raiatea for ... years. We live in a charming house a few minutes drive from the city center of the island.
  I am an economics/management teacher in a high school and my wife own a small fish business (making smoked fish, fish soups, etc.).

  Nous sommes Max et Valérie!
  Nous nous lançons pour la toute première fois dans l'aventure workaway. Après avoir longtemps accueilli/héberger des voyageurs se trouvant sur notre route, nous sommes prêts à nous lancer!
  Nous habitons à Raiatea depuis 17 années. Nous vivons dans une charmante maison à quelques minutes en voiture du centre ville de l'île.
  Je suis professeur d'économie/gestion dans un lycée et ma femme a une petite entreprise de poissons (confection de poissons fumés, soupes de poissons...).

  We would like to have some helps for:
  
  - general maintenance of the house
  - gardening (mowing, harvesting fruit trees, pruning, etc.)
  - help me in making my wooden boat
  - carpentry
  
  Nous aimerions avoir un coup de main sur:
  
  - l'entretien général de la maison
  - le jardinage (tonte, ratissage, récolte des arbres fruitiers, taille...)
  - aide à la fabrication de mon bateau en bois
  - travaux en menuiserie selon le moment

  Accommodation

  We can welcome you in our nice and spacious house situated few km from Raiatea's city center. You'll have a large part of the house (bedroom and private bathroom).
  
  We would be very happy to prepare you some Polynesian traditional, European dishes.
  
  
  Nous pouvons vous accueillir dans notre jolie maison située à quelques km du centre ville de Raiatea. Notre maison est spacieuse, vous aurez une aile entière de la maison (chambre et salle de bain privative).
  
  Nous serons heureux de vous faire découvrir la cuisine polynésienne, chinoise, traditionnelle française et également ravis de découvrir la cuisine de votre pays.

  We have canoes/kayaks that we put at your disposal. Our house is located by the river, close to the mountains and the sea. There are many hikes to do on the island, visit archaeological sites, swimming, snorkelling, diving, boating... We live from easy way. We love the simple pleasures of life (sharing a good meal, sharing travel stories...). We will be happy to introduce you to our island, share our way of life and introduce you to our family! We have kayaks that you can use. Our house is situated close to the river, close to mountains and the sea. There is few things to do in Raiatea like: hiking, visit the archaeological site, bathing, snorkelling, diving, some boats tours... We live in a simple way. We love the simple pleasures of life (sharing a good meal, sharing travel stories...). We would be very happy to welcome you to our island, showing our life style and presenting the family!
  
  
  
  Nous avons des canoës/kayak que nous mettons à votre disposition. Notre maison est située en bordure de rivière, proche des montagnes et de la mer. Il y a de nombreuses randonnées à faire sur l'île, visite de sites archéologiques, baignade, snorkelling, plongée, faire du bateau...
  
  Nous vivons de manière simple. Nous aimons les plaisirs simples de la vie (partager un bon repas, partager des récits de voyages...).
  Nous serons heureux de vous faire découvrir notre île, partager notre mode de vie et vous présenter notre famille!
