    Description

This is a project that I always had inside since I was little. I grew up in a mixed environment like my grandmother's house that was agricultural, artisan, settled in the roots and traditional Canarian customs, and my parents, who, like many other Canaries, choose at the time to go to the world of gastronomy and tourism. . For me it was always fascinating those ways of living where the grandfather brought the goat's milk home and grandmother made cheese with it, jelly with fruits and traditional Canarian foods but influenced by Cuban flavors, since my great-grandmother emigrated to Cuba and my grandmother, daughter of Canarian parents, was born there and got back later. to the islands at the age of 15.

Renovating my great-grandmother's house, I found letters that she wrote during the time she lived in Cuba, sent to her mother (my great-great-grandmother) where she told her that in Cuba canaries were treated badly, like third-rate Spaniards, but that they would keep it up to save "money" to return, buy some land and that the family lacks nothing.
When reading this and with the idea that was always inside in a latent state, I made the decision to "give life" to those small pieces of land that my family has and activate them in a regenerative agriculture project, with an organic vision containing principles such as permaculture, among others, and focus on a path closer to food sovereignty, creating a meeting place between different generations that can add value to the idea.

The idea is to create different spaces where in the future to be able to carry out courses and workshops, produce food, work in synergy with the environment and sustainable life, promoting traditional values and safeguarding ancestral knowledge to take them to the next generations. . with the respect they deserve. thus avoiding that they are lost due to disuse.

There are some crops and animals (chickens, quails and soon ducks) that we also take care of and work with in a cycle in which a part of what is produced on the farm is eaten by the animals, and with the chicken manure we make preparations for the crops , we get eggs, etc.

We are looking for people who want to do things, who put energy into any of the things that are required in projects like this, people who have good physical shape to carry out the tasks of agriculture and construction, preferably with experience in the world of agriculture and construction, although having other skills will also be valued.

If you are one of them and you like the idea, get in touch with us. We believe that the minimum period of collaboration with the project should be several weeks, but from experience the best thing would be to do a test week to see if it is what both parties are looking for, and based on that, make plans for several weeks with objectives. marked so as not to lose their way and move forward as such a project requires.

We hope to hear from you soon, a hug.
