Help with renovation and garden in the French Riviera, France

  Description

  We have recently purchased a house in the hills of Villefranche-Sur-Mer which is in the French Riviera in between Nice and Monaco.
  
  The house has quite a large terraced garden which has been neglected and we would like to breathe the life back into it and create a special place overlooking the fantastic coastline.
  
  The property is located in the department of the Alpes Maritime and almost exactly in the middle between Nice and Provence. It is close to the beautiful villages of Eze, Villefranche, Beaulieu and St Jean Cap Ferrat. The property is in a fabulous area and within an hour you can reach many beautiful destinations including but not limited to well known towns such as Cannes, Nice and Monaco, beautiful beaches, lakes and canyons and some of Frances finest examples of perched villages and even Italy.
  
  Tom and I are a sociable couple in our 30s with a passion for both horses (Karen) and motorbikes (Tom). Our interests are broad spectrum, there is never nothing going on. Accommodation will be in the main house with a large double room with basic en suite facilities, remember this is a property that requires renovation (although perfectly habitable it is a little old fashioned). Wifi, cycles/scooter, canoe and other boys toys abound also. You will share the property with us although we won't be there all of the time. We are looking for people who can commit some time to help with various small projects both in the house and the garden but also with plenty of your own time for exploring the region. We also have an apartment in Monaco so possibility to stay there occasionally at weekends to let your hair down in the big smoke! Also possibility to help with classic motorbike/car maintenance/restoration if this is something that interests you.
  
  We would like to welcome work awayers from May 2019 (dates flexible) who would be willing to help us in the house, with the land on various projects including. We are flexible with length of stay as long as we can agree to you helping us whilst you are here.

  This is a great area to explore and we know quite a lot about the region and will be happy to share our knowledge, we can also help with English practice if this is useful. Tom is also a passionate Motorbike engineer and can help someone learn skills in this area.

  Help

  Primarily helping with internal renovations such as painting, sanding etc. External assistance with the land including general gardening and planting work, assisting with cutting trees and removal of cuttings, watering etc. Also possibility to help with classic motorbike/car restoration if this is something that interests you.

  Accommodation

  Comfortable double room inside the house, you will have access to bathroom (possible share with another work awayer) and kitchen and grounds of the house. We are social and you can choose to socialise with us as and when you like but there is enough space that you can have your own time too.

  So much to do in the region I could write pages but you would have the Cote D'Azur on your doorstep as well as Provence with amazing, walking, cycling, canyoning, opportunities. Unlimited possibilities for sightseeing really! Great cultural programmes during the summer and excellent bars and restaurants.
