Join Our Regenerative Project in the African Bush 🌿

We're looking for passionate, like-minded volunteers to be part of our grassroots movement to restore land, empower communities, and live in harmony with nature.

Based in the heart of the African bush, our off-grid project is regenerating degraded land through agroforestry and community education. We’re creating food forests, running training programs, and building a new way of living—from the soil up.

We're calling in people who value regeneration, sustainability, and mindful living—and who are open to a simple life in nature (think: sleeping in a tent under the stars, cooking over the fire, and working with your hands). This is a chance to reconnect with the earth, with yourself, and with a community creating real change.

We live and work with the Kavango people - a team of 10 to 15 people, sometimes more depending on our plantings. So you'll be working with our local team in the fields, on building projects, and more.

If you’re adaptable, hard-working, open-hearted, and ready to be part of something meaningful—we’d love to hear from you!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Our project is deeply rooted in the rhythms of rural African life. We live and work alongside the Kavango Tribe in Namibia.

Volunteers work alongside local team members, share stories around the fire, cook traditional meals, and learn about indigenous ways of farming, medicine, and community living.

In return, you’ll share your own skills, energy, and culture—creating a rich exchange of ideas and connection. Whether it's through hands-on work, language, or simply day-to-day living, this is a space where mutual learning and respect are at the heart of everything we do.

  • Help

    Help

We’re especially looking for volunteers with skills in:

🌱 Gardening, permaculture, or agroforestry to help maintain the food forests.

🪵 Carpentry or sustainable building - bringing our visions to life, building up the community and training centres of the farm.

📸 Videography or content creation - we need someone to help document all that we're doing here and help grow our socials.

🤝 Team management or project coordination - with skills to help run teams of people and/or different areas of the farm.

🌍 Community education or regenerative design - we need hands to help with the community outreach, planting gardens and co-ordinating free offerings.

🍲 Off-grid living, cooking, or natural wellness - someone to help take care of the team and the beautiful space we're creating!

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

For now, our only accommodation is camping in our community space. (One of first volunteer projects is to upgrade this space).

We'll provide a large, secure tent (with a mattress and bedding) in our campsite area which has it's own roofed area with lockable spaces, tables, a sink with drinking water and a shower.

You'll have access to our bigger community area just a minutes walk away - this is where any cooking and food storing is.

We will provide all food and ingredients in the shared community kitchen, with options to cook together or solo. Lunches are prepared by a staff member in the traditional way.

We live in a remote area of Namibia, so having your own car is definitely preferred. We are 7 hours drive from Windhoek, however the road up from Windhoek is all tarred and easy to drive.

Our nearest village is 20km away for any basic shopping and food supplies that we need.
