    Description

We are a family of 3 (Nick, Swiss American, Margaux, french and our son Archie), living in a paradise near the river lost in a valley of Cantal. We have a dog and a cat, sheep and free range chicken, and we raise rainbow trouts. The property is big and wild, perfect for a peaceful retreat. We host guests in our gîte during summer, but don’t require any help around the gîte, only in our homestead. We are building a campsite that should open in 2025.
We traveled the world for years and now we are settled here and love meeting new people from all around the world.

The tasks we do around the property are very diverse: we garden in permaculture, take care of the animals, maintain the state of the property (cut the grass, remove the weeds, clean the river), we build all sort of things (pizza oven, ecolodges, Ecobuilding, benches and pic nic tables..)
We do need to develop our social media and website.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

We can host you in our gîte (kitchen, bathroom, 3 doubles beds in separate rooms) or in the campsite (kitchen, dry toilets and showers) if you have a van or wanna pitch your tent.
We can feed you for lunch and you can cook your diner in your kitchen.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

You do need a car because our location is very isolated. Aurillac is 45 minutes away, there are a lot of hikes and beautiful villages or places to see (Salers, Puy Mary..)
The perfect goal when you come here is to recharge, be in nature and reconnect with the simple and authentic things in life. It’s confortable, yet it is countryside life with no bar or club around.
