  Hi everyone, I am Mexican, I am 33 years old. I am looking for a person who wants to do a language exchange or teach me English. I offer accommodation and food. I am looking to improve my English at home, also for a cultural exchange.
  
  I would like to improve my English skills because I plan to do a master’s degree and I want to be more confident communicating in English. I am an Environmental Engineer working in industry.
  
  I want to learn academic English, to get prepared for IELTS exam. My level of English must be intermediate, and I want to improve to advanced.
  
  If you aren't an English teacher, you can help me with my speaking practice!
  
  My house is located in a centric location, it is one block from one of the main avenues of the city, Tecnologico avenue. Deportiva park, Instituto Tecnologico and old University of Chihuahua are 700 m away, 20 m from the OXXO convenience store and less than 2 km from cinema, restaurants, and shopping centre.
  
  You will have a private room in your stay. We will share the bathroom, kitchen and living room. Cleaning must be done for all of us. I do shopping, but cooking is a common task.
  
  I have an office schedule and return home in the afternoon. The English classes must be taken from Monday to Friday after work (2 hours per day), you are free to rest during the day. You will be free during the weekends; you can explore the city or towns around here. Scheduled days can be flexible if you want to explore the state and the Country.
  
  My family lives in the south-central part of the state (Meoqui), I promise to take you there for a weekend.
  
  Hola a todos, mi nombre es Marissa, mexicana de 33 años. El motivo por el que estoy siendo anfitriona es porque busco mejorar mi inglés sin salir de casa, además de vivir un intercambio cultural. Busco una persona que me dé clases de inglés personalizadas, a cambio ofrezco el hospedaje y las comidas.
  
  La razón por la que quiero perfeccionar mi nivel de ingles es porque planeo hacer una maestría y quiero sentirme más segura al momento de comunicarme en inglés. Yo soy ingeniera ambiental y trabajo en industria.
  
  El apoyo que requiero es ingles académico IELTS. Mi nivel debe ser intermedio y quiero llegar a avanzado.
  
  La casa se encuentra en ubicación estratégica, por lo que es fácil llegar a cualquier punto de la ciudad, vivimos a una cuadra la Avenida Tecnológico, que es una de las principales avenidas en la ciudad. La ciudad deportiva, el Instituto tecnológico y la antigua universidad autónoma de Chihuahua se encuentra a 700 metros, estamos a 20 m de una tienda de conveniencia OXXO, a menos de 2 km puedes encontrar el cine, restaurantes, tiendas, bancos, etc.
  
  Tendrás una habitación privada. Compartiríamos el baño, la cocina y la sala. La limpieza y el cuidado es responsabilidad de todos. Yo me encargo de comprar la comida, pero la preparación de los alimentos lo haremos entre todos.
  
  Yo tengo horario de oficina, llego a casa por la tarde. Las sesiones de inglés me gustaría tenerlas de lunes a viernes por la tarde después del trabajo (2 horas diarias), por lo que puedes descansar o hacer otra actividad durante el día. Tendrás el fin de semana libre para que explores la ciudad y los poblados de los alrededores. Soy flexible con los días y horarios si necesitas viajar fuera de la ciudad o del país.
  
  Mi familia vive en la región Centro sur del estado, en Meoqui (de donde soy originaria) por lo que prometo llevarte a conocer un fin de semana.

  This is an opportunity to learn about the culture of northern Mexican, specifically Chihuahua. We will include you in our plans while you are here. Maybe you go to a traditional festivity.
  
  I like to cook, I can teach you some Mexican and northern Mexican recipes, I also want to learn some dishes from your country.
  
  Es una oportunidad para que te inmerjas en la cultura del norte de México, especialmente de Chihuahua. Sin problema te incluiremos en nuestros planes en el tiempo que te encuentres con nosotros. Tal vez te toquen algunas festividades.
  
  Me gusta cocinar, por lo que puedo enseñarte a preparar algunos platillos y también estoy dispuesta a probar nuevas recetas.

  I’ll get the food, but if you want to buy anything additional it will be your expenses.
  
  We sleep quite early during the week; I’ll appreciate it if you don’t make noise after 10 at night.
  
  Even though we are chubby, we try to eat healthy and train frequently.
  
  Sometimes during the week, we drink alcohol, and sometimes friends or family come to visit us.
  
  La compra de comida corre por mi cuenta, pero si gustas comprar algo adicional será por tu cuenta.
  
  Dormimos temprano entre semana por lo que agradecemos no hacer ruido después de las 10 de la noche.
  
  Aunque estamos un poco gorditos, tratamos de comer saludable y hacer regularmente ejercicio. Algunas veces por semana tomamos alcohol moderadamente.
  
  A veces recibimos visita de familia o amigos, o hacemos comida en el patio.
