We are Thomas, Barbara and Felix (age 63, 60 and 36), living on a farm in Klein-Umstadt. The village of 2000 inhabitants is located close to the Odenwald (40 km south of Frankfurt). There is a train-station in Klein-Umstadt..
We cultivate 2 ha of grass-land and meadows for our goats Ilvie, Lotta. Luna and Holly. There are 17 chickens and three cats with us as well. Since 2021 we grow organic vegetables to sell them on our local market - in a combination of MarketGarden and Permaculture.
800m² vineyard are also part of the property. The grapes are being gathered in fall and brought to a vinemaker collective.
We cultivate an harvest from 60 fruit trees, mainly apples and produce cidre. Apart from that there is a big house-garden.

Wir sind Thomas, Barbara und Felix (63, 60 und 36 Jahre) und leben auf einem Bauernhof in Klein-Umstadt. Das Dorf hat ca. 2000 Einwohner und liegt am Rande des Odenwaldes (40 km südl.von Frankfurt). Klein-Umstadt hat einen Bahnhof.
Wir bewirtschaften 2 ha Grünland und Weiden, darauf unsere vier Ziegen Ilvie, Lotta, Luna und Holly. Wir haben 17 Hühner und drei Katzen. Seit 2021 bauen wir biologisch Gemüse an - in einer Kombination aus MarketGarden und Permaculture.
Wir pflegen und beernten 60 Hochstammobstbäume, vorwiegend Äpfel, Keltern im Herbst und machen Apfelwein.
Wir haben einen Weinberg von 800qm. Die Trauben liefern wir im Herbst an unsere Winzergenossenschaft.
