Description
Me and My husband have a big family house in Nyons, La Drome in Provence with two hectares of land. I am teacher/ coach and my husband is a scientist. We have a passion for nature and the countryside. We love spending time in nature and meeting people from different cultures. I am American and my husband is French we have a small son. Languages spoken English, and French.
We are looking for people who are able to handle gardening equipment such: chain saw, tractor and clearing equipment. There are some jobs with hand tools as well but there is a lot of overgrown land that will need clearing. We are also looking for people who can drive the pick up. Couples are welcome as we have small son and often need help with babysitting and housework.Types of help and learning opportunities

In exchange for half days work, five days a week. We will provide you with your own room or shared room, communal kitchen to be shared with other volunteers. We will provide the groceries for your meals. We can also help you learn and practice your French and English. There are lots of Vineyards in the region and Nyons is known for its Olives. There is beautiful river for swimming and the mountain Ventoux is not far away for those who like hiking. There are several hiking trails in the area.

Help
We are looking for people to help us with gardening such as : weeding, cutting grass, cutting and trimming trees, clearing, and chopping wood, On the land we have olive trees that really need attention so they can produce olives again!
The house we need help with : cleaning, some small renovations such as painting ,or fixing fixtures.
Family we have a small son and we need someone to watch him from time to time while we are working on the land.Languages spoken
