    Accommodation

The bookstore is located in a traditional Japanese house built in 1925, private or shared rooms are available on the second floor. Like the house, the rooms are traditional with tatami floors, futon beds, and there is no AC (the mountains provide all the fresh breeze we need!). You will have full access to all amenities of the house including kitchen, modern toilet & shower (with hot water), washing machine, and fast Wi-Fi.

    What else ...

We are located in Uchiko, a pleasant mountain town in the Ehime prefecture of Shikoku island. The bookstore is located right on the main shopping street of Oda, walking distance from local cafes, shops and restaurants. We can also drive you to visit nearby towns and destinations like waterfalls, hiking, rivers, etc.

We are a 20 minute drive from the Uchiko JR station. On days off I can always take you to the station so you can explore on your own.
