Description
We live in New Belgrade, in Block 45, one of the nicest and greenest areas of the city. It’s a peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood known for its large parks, walking paths, and bike lanes that lead straight to the Sava River. Everything is close — shops, the market, cafés, and public transport — yet the atmosphere remains calm, safe, and welcoming. Many travelers love this area because it offers the perfect balance between the energy of the city and the comfort of a quiet local community.
My family is very open and warm. We run our own small businesses, we love to travel, and we enjoy meeting new people and cultures. My son is 19, and my daughter is 20 — she is currently studying in the United States, so her small and cozy room is free and ready to welcome a guest who wants to share culture, stories, and everyday life with us.
Our home is friendly and positive, and we look forward to hosting someone who will enjoy their stay and feel inspired here.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
In our home, Workawayers can experience the true spirit of local life in New Belgrade and get to know our family in a natural and relaxed way. We enjoy spending time outdoors, walking by the river, having coffee in the neighborhood, and discovering new places. The river is very close, offering beautiful opportunities for long walks, relaxation, and recreation, and there are bike paths where we often ride bicycles — something we are always happy to share with our guests.
Through everyday conversations and shared activities, you can get to know our culture, traditions, and the way of life in Serbia. We also love learning about other countries and cultures, so exchanging experiences, languages, and perspectives is one of the most meaningful and enjoyable parts of hosting for us. We truly believe that every encounter brings something new and enriches both us and our guest.

Help
My main priority is practicing English through everyday conversation. While learning and talking together, we can also take care of simple daily tasks — light tidying, going to the store, or preparing a meal . All tasks are easy, relaxed, and naturally fit into the rhythm of everyday life. What matters most to me is that you feel comfortable, welcomed, and like a part of the home.

I would love to practice English through everyday conversation and simple daily activities. Talking while cooking, walking by the river, organizing the space, or doing small household tasks together helps me improve naturally and makes the exchange more enjoyable for both of us.
Accommodation
The guest will stay in my daughter’s small and cozy room, which is currently available while she is studying abroad. The room is fully prepared for a comfortable stay and includes clean bedding and everything needed for a pleasant rest.
Guests are welcome to use all other areas of the apartment as part of the family — the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. Our apartment is small, about 55 square meters, but it is warm, functional, and family-oriented. Because of our busy schedules, we are often out of the house, so guests usually have plenty of privacy and quiet time.
Food is provided by us, and we prepare meals based on mutual agreement, depending on both our daily routines. What matters most is that you feel comfortable, relaxed, and truly welcome.
What else ...
Our location in Block 45 is an excellent starting point for exploring urban Belgrade. Many tram and bus lines begin right near our building, making it very easy to reach all parts of the city. Public transportation is frequent and well-connected, so Workawayers can quickly get to both the modern neighborhoods and the historic center.
Belgrade has a rich and layered history shaped by various cultures over centuries, and you can feel that unique blend everywhere you go. From the ancient Kalemegdan Fortress overlooking the rivers, through the lively pedestrian streets around Knez Mihailova and the charming bohemian spirit of Skadarlija, to the impressive Saint Sava Temple and the modern Sava Promenade, the city offers endless opportunities for exploration. Even places like Zemun with its old-town atmosphere or Ada Ciganlija with its recreational paths are easy to reach from our neighborhood. Staying in Block 45 gives you a comfortable and convenient base to discover the true spirit of Belgrade and experience its authentic energy.
