  • Description

Quarantine situation: Bolivia is statg that there is a two week self isolation requirement on entry. Volunteers can give our address for this and we things are very normal here. Interesting times huh? For those that wish to learn practical skills including eco construction, organic farming, seed saving, medicinal plants, alternative healing and community building: we are open.

We love tasty food and to socialize. We like to maintain a balance of work hard to be productive, play hard, open conversation and to take time to rest.

It doesn't really matter how crazy things are elsewhere, our place stays "todo tranqui". Jessica is a certified yoga instructor and an amazing chef.

Simon is a New Zealander with a passion for permaculture. We have set up a Permaculture Retreat Center in Mizque, Bolivia to implement and demonstrate natural systems and methods.

The farm is situated 15 minutes walk from the plaza principal to the authentic city Mizque, set in a productive valley with a temperate climate. You can interact and experience a strongly Quechua culture and practice your Spanish both on the farm and with the wider community. There are plenty of natural attractions to experience in your free time also.

We enjoy tasty food, yoga, mountain biking, swimming in the rivers and some canyoning: the trails are excellent.

All you need is an inquisitive mind and a great attitude. That said, we particularly appreciate people with a passion. We are also open to facilitating workshops to share your expertise. E.g. dancing, massage, meditation, alternative healing, cooking. If that says "me" to you then please send me a line.

Our minimum stay for volunteering is two weeks but a month is usually needed to be able to make a good contribution, experience the culture, nature and learn the systems.

If you can bring organic seeds this is a great contribution.
